I agree with the first strip measuring at three points, taking the biggest reading and cutting the paper with extra added.
This may be something he forgot to mention but on the second strip you have to allow for the wall being out as well, so another measurement should be taken using the same technique and plumbing your line accordingly. This vid says take the measurement from the off cut and plumb from the corner to this measurement. If the wall is out like I said u could get a gap?
also if its vinyl wallpaper use pva glue down the edges ,then wipe of the ecess with a sponge,also work away from the light to hide the joints or seams ,so start at the main feature wall to keep the pattern equal on both sides ,start in the middle and work away from the light if its possible ,try to end in a hidden corner
No you couldn't because it's unlikely the edge where the two walls meet would be straight. So it seems the solution is to paper as best up to the seem as possible, while the 1/4 inch lip you paper over deals with any spaces.
At 2:26, can't you just line up the two seams instead of sliding the second cut sheet into the corner? The line should be perfect. You wouldn't have to give up any patterning that way.
