Truly amazed with this band. Never even heard of them before so thanks to my friend for sharing a link. I was typing a phone txt when I started this video and my fingers froze and my jaw dropped, First when the drums and bass started, then the keyboard sweetly and smoothly comes in over that long riding bass and jaw dropped again when Susan started to sing. I just heard this band on a facebook post. I cant believe I just heard of them. They are amazing and I have had to watch this over and over. I even went as far as to order the Cross Roads 2010 dvd just to make sure I will have the video just in case it isnt available to down load.. What I would give to have them play at the Botanical Gardens in Boise or the Ealge River Pavillion in Eagle , Idaho. I am dreaming of it !!!

Love this performance as well as the recorded version...reminds me of the early 70's when rock festivals were happening all across the country, and pretty darn affordable, really a golden time for rock n roll. Anyway, this tune has it all, Susan's soulful voice foremost, Derek's creative sweet sweet guitar, great backup vocals, and the rest of the band making the whole thing move powerfully but with restraint, an effect I can appreciate greatly, like cruising easily behind a powerful motor

Here's my rap on Derek: he's the greatest ever to live. Without the slide he builds on phrases from styles as soulful as the blues scales and as expressive as Hindustani classica ragas. He has a great arsenal of jazz licks and general theory as well. But with that slide...man, that glass is able to channel every bit of emotion that flows through his head like its a sixth sense. You can't compare any slide players to him. Not even Duane. He defies all logic with that slide. Trucks is king.

Sitting at home on a rainy afternoon in Perth, Scotland UK watching the Crossroads Concert from 2010 on tv and came accross this song. Tracked it down on you tube. What more can you say, this is the best song I have come upon in years, just everything about it, arrangements, guitar, keyboard, voices superb! Who cares about the rain when you listen to this.

Trucks is the best player, slide and all, that is currently breathing. Haynes comes close, but Derek's ability to carry ballads like this flawlessly and still let the rest of the band shine is off the charts. Personally I don't think there's been a musical talent like him, in terms of playing ability, since Buddy Rich.
