I'm happy to know that there is a name for the cut that you gave shamus. I just went crazy with the clippers on my oes and I just called it a reverse mullet. Party in the front, business in the back.

It's called a Lion's Cut and it's a very common cut. He has it because after he was rescued off the chain where he'd spent most of his life, his fur was so badly matted that it couldn't be saved and it had to be shaved down. I'll be sure to let him know that you think it's stupid.
