my china cabinet was in a george c. scott movie! I liked the movie.I will never live in san fransisco for the simple reason that if you trip and fall, you will roll all the way through town.
It was ment to be about a moral, but even if back in 79 movie like that on T.V. was not never. These days you got Paris on T.V. in plain view. A intrapreneurs daughter takes off. A father with moral searches for his daughter paying for it all. Maybe she injoyed it but father pays the bills. Moral. Quality. Pixel. I own the movie.
What is the deal with this kind of video? I don't mind the commercials but whatever they are doing makes it very difficult to watch. If my connection bogs down on a normal video I can pause the playback and let it cache some more and then resume playback. Not so here. And I tried watching this earlier, paused it, and came back and it won't play at all. Guess I have to refresh the page and see if it will let me find where I left off. That's lame.
Thank you Crackle for uploading this movie. I do appreciate it. LOVE the song that bookends this movie "Percious Memories" by Susan Raye. Would love to own a copy of it but given that this is so old it's probably not around anymore. What a bummer.
Hardcore is one of the best remembered movies from 1979. George C. Scott stars as a Buisnessman discovers that his Daughter is missing and is involved in the dark world of Porn. Peter Boyle also stars in Paul Schrader's shocking but underappriciated movies ever made. I've first seen it back in '84 when my late dad rented it on VHS. I love the part in which he explodes after seeing the porno in which his daughter was in. Great movie worth watching look for it on DVD.

Rented this years ago and I can honestly say it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Not the subject matter....it's just a bad movie.

Yeah like "See No Evil, Hear No Evil", or "The Principal", or "The Net 2.0."
