I find it just as cruel to intentionally over feed your cat or any other animal, as it is to starve them. The animal doesn't get to experience life to the fullest, as the animal will probably develop joint and/or bone problems, and have trouble moving around. I wish some people would understand that a well fed cat and an over-weight cat are different, and that it isn't fair to the cat.

Most Cats are fat because the owners have their Nut sacks cut off, which makes them lazy and inactive and docile. They do this so their cats won't want to roam outside. Just Nap Inside a home for their entire 9 lives. Usually its white women who do this, and Soccer moms.

I apologize i did not mean it to be taken as racist. I just heard from people that neutering a male cat makes them docile and lazy, and unwilling to be as active if they were non neutered. Me personally, I would never do that to my cat, I have had several. and cats are way cool, If they want to roam then let them. @CoolConejo thats for sure is rascist and no its not true. some people do it to keep their cats from develop mammary tumors. the vets even said that and 2 some people also dont want kittens. I have 3 cats 1 is spayed and other 2 will be when I get my money. my do go outside and I cant afford more animals. and 2 my landlord said no more pets. so yes its good idea to have them spay. Also there are so many animals in animal shelters being put down bec they cant find them homes. so its best to do it

Any cat parent who has an obese cat bears full responsibility. Cats can't open cans themselves. Pets should be rationed food if they are getting obese. It's extremely unhealthy for any animal to have to suffer like this. Perhaps some people are doing this for publicity and that is the worst reason. They don't care about their pets.
