I am one of those mindless robots. I watched my 10 year old nephew, Braden, die from this disease less than two days after his symptoms appeared. It was horrific and sad to watch this loving, bright little boy wrench in pain and have seizures. He eventually stopped moving and then quit breathing altogether. My kids are now immunized. The percentage may be small, but its a ruthless and aggressive disease. If you can save one little Braden, its worth it.
