  • Most clothing commercials were just one degree below porn back then.

  • That was my first weekend in L.A.

  • Those Were The Days!!!

  • Thank you for this collection. I was looking for that old ad for Q*bert-the one in which a family starts playing Q*bert and they turn into Q*bert heads, and found it. :D

  • september 2nd 1983 don't you mean and pittsburgh@atlanta was the nbc game of the week that wek

  • That was Andie MacDowell's real voice at the time. Because of her strong southern accent, her voice was dubbed by Glenn Close in that 1983 Greystoke Tarzan movie. Over the years, she's managed to shed the accent.

  • @dcavalli9. She shed it?! Didn't know she had a southern accent. I also noticed Bruce Willis shed his NJ accent after watching Die Hard again. While I was watching it I kept thinking, Willis doesn't talk like that!

  • Victor Caroli's voice on the Ultra Brite ad.

WOW@ the Gap selling other brands!

And they were certainly obsessed with working out back then, weren't they?

  • @Kuahmel Oh yeah...aerobics was the big thing in the early 80s. A natural offshoot of the health craze that started in the late 70s. "Jazzercise" was popular too.

  • Is that Jami Gertz in the D&D commercial? (Boy, they sure cast that one accurately!)

  • I was in L.A. back then.

  • Is that David Clayton-Thomas from Blood Sweat and Tears in the RC Cola spot?
