I love your unboxings. They are so detailed and you really get into it, the creative covers, the mispronouncing of the authors names lol and even the fonts and stuff like that, we really get into the entire book rather than a quick 5 second review of how the story it. So I'm on the unboxing side the the group but if you really feel that book hauls are better then you go right ahead I will watch you no matter what.. love your videos that much.
@Brittney123ish I think I'm going to try book hauls for awhile because the first one I posted was a such a huge success. I've never gotten a response like that on my Unboxings. I don't know if you watched it, but I tried to fit in as much detail as I could. However, I still had to cut a lot out.

But then I posted that Book Haul and it got 167 views and 64 comments and it's only been two days! I've never had an unboxings do that before. Plus, I've gone up about five subscribers since posting it. So really, what choice do I have? I might still do an unboxing now and then if I know I don't have enough books coming in. I don't tend to buy them like most people.
I save up my books 90% of the time. I have three stacks right now to do, but like you say, you have to spread them apart time-wise (but mostly because I'm lazy). I have done unboxings, but not one book at a time and it is really more like a haul but you see me open the box and I talk about my first impression about a book and move on quickly.
So it's OK to get Susie (Suzie?) all wet on her face, but she can't get you all wet. I say dog discrimination! What a poor abused animal... LOL
@bumblesby Even though the vote was really close on this video, I think I'm going to switch to Book Hauls. My video on TheBookVlogger is just doing really really well. Way better than any of my unboxings have done. I've even gained 3 more subs since posting it! I wont be able to do them too often though cuz of cash.

I like both videos and I think you should continue doing both. I like when you show the detail of unboxing the books and looking through it page at a time and opening the cover and the type, I find it interesting and enjoy watching them, and I watch them all and seeing the signatures. I like hauls because I like to see what people are buying as well, but you don't really get to see the type or under the jacket in details like that in the videos, but I get that with yours...
@TheCubicleBlindness So I should just stick with what I'm doing basically. I think that seems to be a lot of what I'm getting from most people, which surprises me. I really thought people would want me to do a lot more book hauls, which might happen anyway with BookCloseOuts-- I can't really do an unboxing with that huge order.
@lindsaylou04 well my motto has always been, it's your channel and you should focus on the things that you are able to do, and want to do. People enjoy watching anyway. I'm not saying you shouldn't take in suggestions to help you make your decisions and the people that watch your videos will make suggestions at times, that's what the comment boxes are for! So don't worry about throwing a mixture of stuff on here, you never really know what's going to stick

Your unboxing videos are addicting! I've watched all of your unboxings even if it's a book I've never heard of or previously wasn't interested in...where as I sometimes skip hauls based on silly things, such as which book is being shown in the icon thingy haha.Books are a form of art and it's cool to see the ones that are beautifully made. I like hauls too though, don't get me wrong (I also don't like hearing the synopsis though, I always skip past that). But I think you'll be good either way.
@Britin101 Well thank you for being so loyal! I think have no idea what I am going to do, but I will say this: those that are in favor of keeping unboxings are really adamant about it. They just LOVE them lol. Even if the vote swings into a landslide for Book Hauls, I'd still feel kinda bad about taking the unboxings away from those loyal bookworms :)

But after my first one, which I think was Tiger's Curse, I was hooked! Another book you influenced me to go out and buy, btw :). most unboxings are BORING. Yours are a little different, though. The opening of the box - boring, who cares it's a box. The detail in the book, close ups of the covers, pages, etc - YAY! I love the haul videos because - you get to see/hear about tons of books in under 5-10 minutes. Its like window shopping, without having to leave. LOL I only do hauls about once a month unless I get a crapload of books. Can't you kind of combine the two. One or two books per vid - but DETAIL

@BunnyCates Well, you did take a rather long break so you have to include that. Plus, It took me awhile just to get to my eight bucks. I was averaging about .3 cents a month and then it became like .28. It was like that for awhile, then BAM! I made about $2.67 one random month. Then it was just bit by bit until I had earned enough to get paid. Oh and you have to consider that I run two channels and a blog-- which all count towards my adsense.
Just throwing this out there, why don't you keep the unboxings cause those are my fav, and then after you have saved up some of those books do a review or haul of all the books unboxed. There are so many book tubers it's good when people review their stuff helps us refresh out memories. Then we get the best of both worlds

Maybe you can do 1 book haul, and just see how it goes. See if you like that better and see what your viewers say, and then go from there?

I like both videos and I think you should continue doing both.
