@XxemodeaddollxX Sorry I don't know a faster way to level up your skills to make the wolly hat. The only thing i do when I'm desperate is to try and make things that are still impossible to make, I lose rp fast, but at least i don't lose materials i need. D:

@LamentingFae Now now, I don't want to spoil anything. But you get the key to the wind temple on a gold turnip request to the...frost island ( i think that's what it's called). Normally you get story related items on golden turnip request, so just keep doing them.

For this temple, i recommend you to be on lvl 35 (1st floor) and 45 (boss fight).

@MitsukiSakura By level 52, do you mean skill level? Both the dual blades and magic staffs are good weapons, but it depends on the situation; I only used the staff on this boss and the final boss because it was easier to land hits and not getting damaged.

@MitsukiSakura Skill levels upgrade your RP bar and depletes the number of RP you need to execute an action with an item; however, it does not increase the strength of your attacks.

So simply put, raising skill levels is important so you'll use less RP and gain new skills; but in terms of strenght you either make new weapons or accessories that increase strenght.

@YujiNanaya okay I know you kind of answered this before, but I am my person is at level 52. I know you mentioned something about the key for the wind shrine being a request on frost island, but do you remember by chance who's request it was? I've been doing a lot of them and have all the characters almost at 6 FP and haven't gotten that request yet.

Do you know if you can defeat the spirits or not?

I just finished this part, I defeated the boss(at level 50 BTW) But I lost to the spirits.

I feel that if I re-fight the boss I might win the spirits the second round or are my efforts going to be useless? @@

@khrikulover It's useless to try and win against the tiny spirits, they are impossible. You'll always hit 0 points.

He's not that hard if you use a wind staff. I beat him when I was 31, but my party consisted of "deadly" monsters - wind elemental, demon king, and forgot the other one. I also used wind rod, was dealing around 130 damage per hit probably coz I'm wearing "Art of Magic", the level 95 crafted arm. xD

For me, the hardest boss was the one in the water shrine temple. But I haven't fought the final boss, so that's my opinion until then. Wish me luck.

@Smells00Like00Naruto Ah I remember that boss. The boxing crocodile, he was great! A very fun boss, but not a big of a push over compared to this one, mainly because this guy is fast to kick your ass.

I beat the bastard thanks to your advice to use magic and run REALLY fast and of course 99 large potions plus 30 french toast :D But I was on Level 43. I had a gold hairpin, a wooly belt, a gold ring and a wooly scarf. I used the wind rod with the fleet foot ability. And had a gold dragon and 2 wind elemental monsters each in the 50-something level. It was freaking scary. XD

The toughest part was that the RP bar was depleting faster than I was dealing damage.

The fight was of epic purpotions! And after many days of getting a cold, I beat the final boss with a miraculous blow of wind.

@Smells00Like00Naruto There's no real techinique to beat "him", but when "he" splits, just focus on the main body, or avoid them the best you can by jumping.

But I do have to warn you that time is not a luxury. In time, "he" will make that devastating attack. So you need to be fast, but at the same time effective.

@TheCTBadAss After you beat the final boss, you have to split Azel and Sonia apart. For optional bosses, there's an island colosseum but i think you just fight the story bosses.

hey is playing rune factory oceans for the first time will updates wii to ver 4.? (unless your playing the ps3 version, then nevermind)

@omega197 I don't really understand what you mean by ver.4, the wii is region locked so if you don't have a japanese wii you can't play rune factory oceans.

Anyway, if you have a softmoded wii and use loaders like neogama or uloader to load the disk, then no it will not update the wii to it's most recent firmware.

um sorry for the miscommunication i said before, what i'm trying to say is: does every wii games that was released whose date are after wii firmware version 4.3 (21 june 2010) will have wii users whose wii still on version 4.2 or lower will be updated to version 4.3 or not? since the japanese version of this game was released at february 2011(already passed the wii 4.3 update release.) so i wonder if it wil update my wii's firmware to ver 4.3 or not.

@omega197 If your wii is bellow 4.3, then yes, when you insert the disc it will ask you if you want to update to 4.3.

well at least that makes thing more clear. what makes me worried is that i once failed in updating my wii from ver 4.2 to 4.3 with wi-fi connection. despite of that failure. it says ver 4.3U on my wii. so i worried if insert the disc, will it ask me to update or not. say if my wii's incomplete update makes it into ver 4.21. will the updates for the disc to ver 4.3 will make it goes into ver 4.31 (which means there's a part of update that was duplicate-installed.) or still 4.3?

@omega197 Humm... I really don't know how to answer to that. My wii never failed to update, so if your wii says it's on firmware 4.3 its most likely to be on that version. But if your still in doubt, try going to the wii shop channel; you can only acess it if your on the most current version (4.3), if it asks you to update then your wii is still 4.2.

Good point. i've once tried that and they are saying that i had to update to the newest version in order to go to wii shop channel. i guess that means it still wii ver 4.2 but recognized as 4.3 because once tried to update it. i just hoped that it won't be 4.21 (which means even incomplete, the installed part during update is still sticked on my incomplete update wii instead of reset back to ver 4.2 despite it's failure update and remove all the installed 4.3 during the update)

because if it goes from ver 4.31 during the disc update, it had a chance that it would brick my wii and recognized the duplicated part of the update goes recognized as an unidentified program and make the wii goes error.

that's why i hoped the disc update it goes well (goes into 4.3) and that's the whole reason i was worried for buying this game.

@omega197 That looks serious, I honestly don't know how to answer that one.

So I only see two options:

-IF your wii is softmodded just use either neogama or uloader as they read discs and bypass the update option.

-IF you really don't know what to do AND your wii is not softmodded, I advise you to call Nintendo and see if they can help.

um, sorry for late response, i already inserted the dics on my ver 4.2/3 wii and it prompted me to update . and fortunately the update goes well and i can safely play any current wii games, now i'm on summer 15/16 in this game. this game is really fun lol,

The only thing that can get hard are the bosses, but that only happens if you are ill prepared, like I was in the video.

@Chernobog2 This game in particular really did focus on combat more than farming, even farming is completly diferent. I didn't care much for the change, it actually made my life easier. But most hardcore harvest moon gamers will most likely rage. :D
