Now Wth is with 4 Gb of ram, unless you got a 32-bit you could had gone with a 8 Gb or more with a 64 bit Os.

The Two Cpu will be like 350-400 so that's 700-800 there, the Mother board will be like 4,500.

Google " SkullTrail ", Currently one of the best Motherboards out on the market, this is what i am basing my specs on for you.
I don't need to have raid one or five, all my software and data are backed-up in another computer, the heat is no problem. If it does fail which is hasn't (1.5 year) because i don't download or delete often. Either way this computer is not just for gaming so I think Vista is the right decision.
But now were are moving on, Vista is maturing and if i go back to Xp which will be a bad idea in long run as more Developers will aim at a Vista friendly software, which may not be native/work on Xp.
1) there are ways to retrieve the data beside back-ups
2) 140Gb is not alot, If it was a primary 500GB+ then yea of course i wont have it on raid 0. My external Drive is only on a few hours a day and if off most of the time.
3) they do not fail regularly so why not enjoy the speed?
Vista is never going to mature... M$ has a new OS scheduled to come out some time next year... Basically Vista is the ME of this decade... It sucks, it's pointless, it's a release to generate revenue.

Do you have Tversity on the EEEPC? If so, is that the Celeron 900MHZ or the Atom 1.6 Ghz? Any feedback on transcoding on this machine? Thanks! =)

No i do not have Tversity Running on the EEE due to the total of 8 GB of space but It still has access to the network by using mozilla, this machine was a gift and it is running Ubuntu 8.10, it is the older model so I think it is 900Mhz

Nah those kind of things i would not do, not trying to be a saint or anything but I just feel that my way is better for some reason.
Anyway the pirating of game have disregard comments made by developers and that have lead to the decline of Pc gaming market, may lead to less game produced in the future too.
I am in NYC, not sure if i am on the blacklist.

Its something like, not the right fit for the mobo, it works but the mother board wont recognize what it is; even in the boot screen.
The bios knows its a CPU but does not know how to use it to its full power.
You get what i am trying to say?
Either way i still find it fun to play on it and it's pretty powerful as it is.

yea if you read the long rant in the info you would see it is about 3,000+ but this is an old computer (1-2 years old) so maybe its like 2700-2500 now?
thats for all the hard ware inside.
The 2 monitior, mouse, keyboard and etc are not part of that price, if i did it would be about another 1000.
I have the printers there for work purpose.

10.98 GHz?? I call bullshit on that one sorry, Just because its a quad core doesnt mean you add up all the core speeds to equal one big number. Doesnt work that way. You should upgrade your ram too, PC3200 is kinda slow

Well it's still to hard to believe, unless your talking old tech that could help explain the price range, but no old mother board will hold a quad and certainly not a 10 Ghz, you talking about OCing right?
You know when you go custom built you gotta make sure certain things fit. not all Motherboard can hold dual/quad, some model will not take ATI cards.
You will need a large power supply for the mobo, Hdd, Gpu, and so on (depending)

Certain ram wont fit, if you got a new modo most of them require sata Hard drives optical drive etc. Well i would like to believe you but it seems to hard with out hard evidence,
I looked back and see you said quad, blu-ray, 1 tb, 2 ghz ram and your Gpu. they dont add up, certainly most of them are new models like your Cpu (quad). You might had added wrong, "nothing in life that's good quality is cheap unless it's a fake". (don't quote me on that cuz i didn't say that)

To put all my points together,
It's very hard to believe you,
I am not sure what you say make sense like 10 GHz,
When you have a custom built, you cant just buy the best part and mash them all together hoping it would work. It's like a jig-saw puzzle only certain pieces may fit in an area.
What you said about the case is a striped down version, everything i got was separate, like i took 20 more mins to put the mobo into a case i liked.
The fan being loud is your preference

I am hoping this conversation will come to some kind of agreement where i can understand what kind of computer it is like is it build from scratch or new tech, and you are telling the truth and i may somehow enlighten you on computers, or you may know much more then i do, share your knowledge on how your computer is possible to exist in a time were personal computer cannot reach a point.

Well dude, Theres a thing i said about CUSTOM BUILT, It has an Alienware Motherboard, thats pretty much alienware init, And it has an alienware case, Big woop, The rest is all like Samsung 11tb Hard Disk, Ballistix RAM, Toshiba DVD Blueray, NVIDIA Graphics, NEC DVD/CD RW Combi, And The Processor Is Intel, So its really not alienware, or else all that i just said, except the processor will be alienware, i know, i used to have a Alienware Area somthing, an old one.

I have an alienware custom built PC, 10.98ghz Intel extreme quad core, 1gb Nvidia Geforce series 8, 8mb l2 cache, 1tb hard disk (15000rpm) 4gb Gaming Ram, (Somthing Like 2.0ghz a stick) Windows XP Media center Edition, Cant be asked for vista... Anything i have missed, oh, a Blueray DVD Rom and a CD/DVD RW Combi!, Yes, I Built this whole pc MYSELF, And coh, Is it loud, the fans i meant!!!!!!
Well, Is anyone beats me, I will be shocked, My PC is worth over 2 1/2 Grand!!! (£2500)

Lol,☺ your Cpu, is hard to understand as you might be saying your mother board can house 2 CPU? currently the most any CPU (with out OC) is about 4-5 Ghz , a video card with 1 GB of video ram is not that hard to find these days, since you had the money to spend I advise a 2 Gb at least with tri/quad sli (if you want). Yea 1 Gb is pretty good for now.
Now Wth is with 4 Gb of ram, unless you got a 32-bit you could had gone with a 8 Gb or more with a 64 bit Os.

Now i have searches a lot hoping to find a 2.0+ Ghz ram but when i found one it was not the right size for my motherboard so i was stuck with a 1800 mhz that i got. Well if you play crysis you will probably know why you want vista more then Xp.
Now about the fans you can go to system and lower fan speed to like 40%-60% (it will expand your fans life)

Either way i can not see how you got all this for 2,500 seeing just 2 pieces cost more than 4 k together
The Two Cpu will be like 350-400 so that's 700-800 there, the Mother board will be like 4,500.

RAID 0 by itself is the dumbest configuration you could ever do... Also Vista as an OS the second dumbest thing you could do. My suggestions:
1) Make your disks RAID0+1 or RAID 5
2) Change your OS... XP Pro for gaming at least... Vista just blows...

I don't need to have raid one or five, all my software and data are backed-up in another computer, the heat is no problem. If it does fail which is hasn't (1.5 year) because i don't download or delete often. Either way this computer is not just for gaming so I think Vista is the right decision.
But now were are moving on, Vista is maturing and if i go back to Xp which will be a bad idea in long run as more Developers will aim at a Vista friendly software, which may not be native/work on Xp.

If the drive does fail and all is lost then yea,
1) there are ways to retrieve the data beside back-ups
2) 140Gb is not alot, If it was a primary 500GB+ then yea of course i wont have it on raid 0. My external Drive is only on a few hours a day and if off most of the time.
3) they do not fail regularly so why not enjoy the speed?
