  • Look, at least they have nut turned into PMSNBC and decided how you should think about the world. Like Green Day, NUFAN has a tremendous amount of credibility. and I am 35. I've been a fan for a long time now, and they have never sold me short.

  • Absolutely a crime that great songs like this don't get any airplay on the radio. This is the reason why there are so many idiots running around because they are fed so much mainstream bullshit.. Thank god for 90.5 The Edge in Concord, CA.. Its a student run radio station that plays this kind of music!

  • nice song

  • 2:16 - 2:23.. reminds of me NOFX alot.. \m/

    thats a good thing :D

  • lols you know what.. after i heard this song i immediately searched for NOFX songs too! hahas..

we had the same reaction after listening to this song..

  • it' s a better than the last album, that was horrible

  • greats once again i believe that no use for a name kicks ass =)

  • awesome song

  • Hell Yeahhhh!!!!!!!!

  • this is a great punk

  • you need to be listening to a lot more music man

  • Yeah, maybe you're right. They're more hardcore-punk compared to the Offspring.

  • It doesn't have the ear grating vocals of Offspring. If the band was a little bit darker sounding, it would almost be identical to Rise Against.

  • The offspring is punk.. in its own way.. there is alot of different 'punk' now... but APARENTLY 'A static lullaby' is punk.. whats happened eh? ¬_¬

  • a static lullaby is fucking good...but as you say, punk??? no. I guess it's "screamo"

  • no theyre not

  • so what do you think they are?

  • not everything taht has screamo in it is screamo. they r like post-hardcore. =]

  • maybe so, but hardcore doesn't have chorus like that and would be less "musical" from my point of vue..

  • what kind of hardcore are u talking about? hardcore punk? deathcore? emocore? post-hardcore is like alesana, silverstein, saosin, eyes set to kill, bless the fall, a day to remember, underoath, drop dead gorgeous. post-hardcore is what you think screamo is and its a common mistake. screamo actually is much less musical and generaly has a faster and more chaotic beat.

  • for me, screamo is like "alexis on fire". Maybe we have different bounds for music genres. For me, everything that has the word hardcore in it, as post-hardcore, would sound more heavier and chaotic. A static lullaby is not very heavy nor chaotic.

  • alexis on fire is post-hardcore. im just going by the general facts. genres just separate the music community but then again it lets music branch out more. trust me, so many post-hardcore bands are really not chaotic and are really musical and melodic and many have acousitc peices. but whatevers just enjoy music because it is the best thing ever =]

  • y is everybody asking about the definitions of music styles? this is good music, thats all matters, who cares if its called punk or hardore or pop-punk?

  • yeah, but theres a lot od "hardcore" or "punk" kid who think youre an asshole if youre listening to bands like blink 182 or rap music and shit... fuck it.

  • Check out a little band called Urban Blight; that's hardcore. This is melodic hardcore.

  • It does have its place though as long as it isn't abused. There are many different types of punk and many different types of taste. This band rubs me off as a political punk band, and someone may be looking for a hardcore punk band, this is not it. While not bad, it doesn't fit in the groove if I'm looking for a hardcore punk band like the Casualties (In the situation where someones going to correct me and say its street punk, then I agree with muler, and the corrector can fuck right off)

  • Correction** change muler to punker***

  • @UberToober i would honestly they were the first emo melody punk band of their kind, i mean they been around since the 80's and Tony Sly's songs are very depressing lol most the time it gave way to many of the bands now and they were and are still the best at it. which is also why i love lagwagon etc. NOFX is much more of the political punk band :D

  • @nyjeterss Lol, I'm looking back on my post and I haven't the slightest clue what the hell I was going on about. lol (I think it was before Youtube implemented their dumbass "@'Insert replied name here'") So I'm not too sure who I was even talking to. Lol

I will always classify NOFX as a skate punk band since its way too happy-go-lucky and political punk bands are usually incredibly serious about the subject.

If you like Lagwagon, then you must love Millencolin. Who can't, they're awesome.

  • @muler321

so little it cant be fund.

  • @muler321 melodic punk

  • Melodic hardcore is actually the correct term for this sub genre. Melodic punk would refer to just plain punk (the stuff of the 70's, when keyboards were used, etc.), whereas this is heavier and faster than original punk, hence hardcore punk. Yet, this focuses on a melody, with harmonies and melodic vocals, hence melodic hardcore.

  • deffineitly not lol.

  • yea! :D they do!

  • lol, the offspring wth?

  • this bands awesome =]

  • nice I like it.

  • really good!

  • Great song! Saw them last night at the Academy in Birmingham! They were GOOOOOOD!

    Thanks for uploading this song!

  • omg i was ther as well it was such an awsum show wasnt it? They wer amazin

  • Yea, they were great! It's been ages since they last played here, hope they come back soon!
