  • Oh man, this is so fucking good. Saw them last time in London in the summer 1,5 years ago, I'd completely forgotten that they played this one there, too. Now it's all coming back to me... Shit, their organ player is so sick live. Seeing them again in a couple of weeks here in Finland, can't fucking wait!

  • are they a skinhead band?

  • @mmmmmska not at all

  • @mmmmmska yep good ol' skinhead reggae/rocksteady. The way it was intended

  • @mohawk1020 thats what i thought

  • It's so hard to find a good recording of this song. I go see The Aggrolites every time the come around, ans I love it when they play this song.

  • anyone know what organ they use?

  • Yeah!!! he must be realy deaf! he can't hear the live!!!

  • If Bradley Nowell was alive, God (or whatever the fuck is up there) rest his soul, he would fucking love this band

  • its alive!

  • as being a skinhead and a real big soul and reggae fan this has to be one of the greatest moments in under ground music.

long live the unity of punx, skins and the Beatles for an unforgettable song.

  • @psycho4334 Unity still matters to me bra keep it strong

  • 9 people were let down!!!!!! thumbs uo!!!

  • BEST BEATLES COVER EVER!!!!!!

  • @bigbootyfiend Charlotte Dada does a really good version as well

  • good shit son

  • Thats not a pit...That's a dancing crowd

  • This is the best damn Beatles cover EVER. period.

  • the video effect is so annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • there's so much soul in them that they could easily derail the soul train.

  • woooooo!!!!

    <3

  • ushh esa monaa!!!!! 4:05

  • the organ is beautiful!

  • WIsh i was there! :(

  • when i say dirty your say reggae. i love how guitarest jumps around and stays on beat. ha blew my mind. when they opend for stoopid

  • Tomorrow in Hermosa Beach.. They're FINALLY back in LA I'm so stoked :)

  • fuckin love them ive been tryin to see them for years

  • how come bands nowadays dont got soul like they do there amazing the aggorlites are one of the greatest bands in the world

  • This is it RIGHT HERE!!!

  • Is there some mosh pit at their gig?

  • @willofodin Anyone who mosh pits to ska is a virgin to the scene. We either do cicles or just two step =P

  • @SomeSkaLoser I saw them live ! No pit but it was a fucking nice gig

  • @willofodin Why the hell would there be a pit at a reggae show. Pits are lame. Time to move on.

  • @rikky383 that just shows that the audience is really into the music, the energy is getting to them.

  • @Jerry13Only I think it might have meant that at one time. Now I find it to be very cliche... and automatic... and typical. Kind of contrary to the very essence of punk rock... no? Perhaps I'm just getting old, fair enough. But I do stand by my original statement/question: Why the hell would there be a pit at a reggae show?

  • @rikky383 well reggae definitely does have energy to it, just like punk(which is an assumption made based on my name im assuming?). I see what you are asking, but have to completely disagree lol

  • @rikky383 I should say theres no reason why there SHOULDN'T be a pit haha

  • @Jerry13Only Yeah, and I suppose you could square dance at an Snoop Dogg concert if you really wanted to... Whatever floats your boat there, Jerry.

  • @rikky383 Well you can always skank nice and slow like or old school ska dance like 60's status haha

  • @rikky383 No less to a Beatles song!!!! hahaha

  • @sitro74 word.

  • @rikky383 Because kids these days don't know how to dance.

  • @rikky383 "Why the hell would there be a pit at a reggae show?" Um, because this is LA and we rock hard here. This is not for amateurs.

  • @NoGotMoney Hey, I'm from LA too... so I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one.

  • @rikky383 because a lot of the kids are try-harders

  • @bukowskisidiottwin You dont have to try very hard to feel the music. Besides there aren't kids at these shows. and try-harder isnt a word

  • @rikky383 If this is from the show I think it is, it's because they were opening for Dropkick Murphy's and the pit was there for them.

  • @operationsleepywease I actually don't remember exactly what my original comment was... but I'm pretty sure it was in response to some kid who was said something along the lines of, "There is no mosh pit, therefore this show looks lame", or something to that effect.

  • @operationsleepywease I believe this is when they were on tour with Bad Religion

  • @rikky383 Skinhead aerobics. That's why.

  • @SomeSkaLoser yes sir, truth right there. we in the club doin the same ol 2step, just like the thugs haha

  • @SomeSkaLoser No man... You dance the way you FEEL. Just dont hurt no-one!

  • @willofodin Maybe a skank pit but you can't "mosh" to this

  • This is so awesome, i loooove it....charges my batteries to the max :)

  • These cats have mad fuckin soul. im hooked!

  • I was introduced to this band thru the Van's Warped Tour of "09 and I immediately liked their music. They're so awesome. I would totally love to b at one of their shows. Whoo!

  • opening for the Wailers 6-24-10

  • i love it when they play this song!

  • This is a fantastic cover

  • @TheMrdoka indeed

  • I love this song/video...it always brings me up into a good mood :D

  • yea, ladies, don't let me down, now!

  • Does anyone know what kind of piano/organ they use?

  • @rastafariam268 search for hammond organ

  • No, it's a Vox Continental or similiar type of 60s vintage electronic combo organ.

  • @GaryReggae It's a Lowrey

  • @rastafariam268 Lowrey. Don't know the model #. Maybe a Lincolnwood

  • Beautiful song, beautiful band!

    One love x

  • first version i ever heard. the aggrolites get down!!!!

  • Not even The Fab 4 can top THIS version!

  • DONT LET ME DOWN!!!

    Great Song!

  • A fair point, other than the fact it's a Beatles cover.

  • oops !!!

  • The song´s called "Don´t LET me down"!!

  • hard to get a performance with higher energy than that.

  • put this song available on mp3!!.

  • great

  • YES mate!

  • keep Early Reggae!!!.

ignorant people read more about reggae!!!

    Skinet keep your tradition!.

In My Heart... Spirit Of '69.

  • so, i just think the aggrolites are fun. everyone should accept that others taste in music is different than their own. if you can't do this, then you're pathetic for dwelling on it.

  • I love this band....the singers voice and style reminds me a lot of the late Bradley Knowles....

  • Great Cover The Aggrolites kick ass

  • The same could be said about many many mainstream bands. When has AC/DC or Linken Park or George Strait come out with a new sound. IMO never.

Personally this is one of the best live shows i've ever been too, and you really have to go to one to judge them as a live band.

  • fuck yeah!!!! aggrolites!!!! great cover

  • Welcome to the definition of a "genre". You dumbass.

  • hahaha same rhythm??? you have no fuckin idea about reggae dude...

  • @bigchief

well... I'm gonna do so: I don't think they care about your opinion bout them. Enogh people out there, who are fans.

  • But I do care to hear others opinions as to why they like The Aggrolites. Beyond people basically saying: "Go fuck yourself" i'm not getting any feedback here.

  • Maybe you just don't hear the soul that the band has. Its not something you can teach or learn but they have their soul in this music. If you can't admit that you might be deaf.

  • If you have heard the same music I have I think you could see the soul within it. I believe you can hear someone pouring their soul into their music regardless of the Genre. Jimi Hendrix, Aggrolites, Lennon... all of them played music that was palpable. There are plenty others but I don't want to list them all off haha

  • Well said! That is exactly the reason why I love the Aggrolites so much.

  • @aslad Yea, well put. I saw them live a few years ago and it was pure magic. They are something truely special. 4:23 gives me goosebumps everytime.

  • Way to elaborate on that point skasez...how about you explain the way you feel instead of being so damn condescending. OK DUDE?

  • Do you know Slackers' "Sooner or Later" ?

You can come round my home mister,

    But i don't mind.

You call me up on the telephone mister,

    But i don't mind.

'cause i've got much more to do than to

    Bother with you.

And i ain't got no time for your

    Violent little mind

  • I Couldn't agree more, great quote from an amazing band. Vic is a legend. peace x

  • we dont want your fucking opinion you sorry asshole!

  • That's is because you are a close-minded fool that is threatened by opposing opinions.

  • damn...the early reggae performed by these guys are so fucking amazing...

  • best aggro line up right there

  • its missing korey kingston though

  • You are right, add korey and J on the bass and there you have it.

Anyone know Korey's status in relation to the Aggros..???

  • their tour manager told me he got married which is good for him but damn : /

  • I saw these guys open for Flogging Molly at House of Blues in New Orleans. They were really good!!! This was my favorite song in their entire set.

and his voice in general is just friggin amazing

    =]

  • I agree. They were amazing at Warped, but the recorded stuff isn't all that impressive.
