Interesting fellow, Baron Manfred von Richthofen. The debate about who shot him down still goes on...either Capt. Roy Brown of the RCAF or ground fire from infantry. I'd imagine the torque from those rotary engines made those fighters tricky to fly. Now days we only have to contend with the torque from the propeller.
