This commercial was filmed at the Oakland Alameda Coliseum Arena in June 1967.

All the players you see are Oakland Seals.

At the end of the commercial when they are in the locker room you can see the partial logo of the Oakland Seals on the wall.

My dad, helped film this commercial in Oakland.

He said the players were great and loved doing the commercial.

It took them 2 months to do the commercial.

Everybody got free cases of Pepsi bottles when it was over.

Too bad they don't have soda in glass bottles anymore. Soda tasted much better in glass bottles! I remeber collecting the glass bottles twice a month from neighbors that didn't want them and taking them to the corner store for the deposit!! Easy money back then when you were a kid!!

has anyone tried the limited edition "Pepsi Throwback" featuring original recipe Pepsi (including REAL cane sugar)? i got my first bottle at my local 7/11. huge difference between present day and 1960s Pepsi. u can recognize it by a white label with the mid-1970s and 1980s Pepsi logo.

A matter of personal taste, to be sure but Pepsi was always best in a REAL bottle.

Better than any cola in a "float" too.

Trivia- the last time I had a TIN can of Pepsi was in early 1975 in Iceland... The Navy must have had it in some warehouse for at least a couple of years. The seam was beginning to rust. So they sent it to our USAF radar site.

Here in America there are canned biscuits called Hungry jacks and pancake mix too. I guess biscuits there are called cookies here, biscuits are flour, shortening, and milk baked, you can use all purpose flour and add salt and baking powder or self rising flour and eliminate the salt and baking powder. I like Buttermilk biscuits.

All I can say is that as a kid growing up in south Louisiana in the 1960s, there was nothing more refreshing on a humid, tropical summer day than an ice cold Pepsi that had been chillin' in one of their coin machines for a week. And this is a long-time Coke-aholic talking, too. And if cylclamates hadn't been banned by the FDA, I might still be drinking Diet Pepsi. That was mighty fine served chilled, too.
