He also states that he had hidden Brazel in his family home because the military was looking for him. weather and wind travels west to east/northwest to southeast/southwest to northeast. I studied meteorology while getting my geography degree and it's very odd for wind to blow from the southeast to northwest. It'll happen but very rare.

@Gioxtream I would love to see what think is proof. I have proof that it did not happen. It is an AAF regulation from 1942 that mandates what the commander of an air base is supposed to do in the event of an air crash and the intelligence officer is not mentioned in it at all.
