I'll have to admit that some "body language" does have meaning. For example, if I am talking to someone and they roll their eyes and try to hide a smile, they obviously think that what I'm saying is nonsense. But it can be taken to extremes as this woman does and elevate body language almost to the point of some sort of cryptic, or even occutic religion. Every movement has a meaning (it doesn't), people are obsessed with "power positions" (might just be a comfortable position). Beware extremists

I respectfully disagree. Your method of Look at him, look down, look at him again, look down, look up again... is interesting within the context of the explanation. However, I disagree that it is optimal for a casual invitation to enter into the HMR/HCR (Human Mating/Courtship Ritual), I would suggest that, maintained eye contact is a better approach. If he doesn't pick up on it, 1) it's his loss; 2) he will be a bad person to enter into relationship with; 3) you can do better.

And that's the same for all humans. Exaples: people smile when they are happy cry when they are sad(more or less) and they scratch there heads if they are confused.

I used to find comfort in putting my hands in my pockets but the reason for this was self-confidence issues. I felt awkward with my hands out of my pockets. I felt as if people might judge me in the way I swing my arms when I walk or where I'd put my hands.
