The person who said the east side is a small town and the west side is bad, well obviously does not live in Flint. I have lived here my whole entire life on the west side. East side is bad. Tons of crimes and shootings over there. West side isn't that bad at all it's actually probably the safest side of Flint. North side is horrible, worst area in all of Flint. South side is not that bad it's closer to Burton. Pretty much just never get lost on the East or North side. Horrible areas.

I actually live about 30 minutes away from Flint, and there's a west side and east side.

The east side is fine, it's like an everyday small town, but the west side is the bad part here.

If there were more police on the streets nothing would be different. They are too busy being traffic nazis. They would rather enforce the Orwellian seatbelt law then actually be productive and attend to actual crimes.

My cousin's car was broken into in 2004 in Saginaw and we called the police at 7 pm. They said they would not be there until 11:30 pm. We left because that was too long to wait and on the way back to the hotel we seen a police officer in a parking lot looking for tickets!!!!
