Never understood why he would go to Chelsea over United. He wants to stay in London and play CL football? He's perfect for Manchester United! Perfect replacement for Scholes, too. Luka Modric is fantastic player, but in England Luka have played just a bit of Luka possibillities . Luka could play a several position in team. In Dinamo Zagreb Luka have often played as forward midfielder and in this position he is better than in position that he plays now. In Croatian national team he plays similar what he plays in Tottenham but only because we have good other forward midfielder, and Luka is only who can play good as central midfielder.

@ankur77868 I know, I have seen the stats, but every single time I've seen him play he's been awful. Even in games when he got assists, he spent most of those matches not doing very much, or losing the ball. That's just in the 10 or so games I've seen this season, but it's enough to give me a negative opinion of him. To call him the most creative player in the world because of one stat is pushing it.

Now, it may be that he's only rubbish whenever I watch him play, and he turns into a superhero in the other matches that I didn't watch. @daftjunk2008 Have you ever actually watched United play other than this season? So we didn't always play the best football this, we've had to adapt from 06-09 because we've lost big players. We still had great performances and results, we beat Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and City in the league+ plenty of dramatic comebacks, its been the most emotional season in a long time for United fans. You just don't see that cos you don't support them. Modric will bring more glory and drama 4 us!
the yorke and cole era was prob your most entertaining. they had an understanding, and a sick midfield backing them up.

"expensive machines doing a job" is the complete opposite of the united way, we play with heart and as a TEAM, and that's why we are able to win titles without having the most gifted squad. @daftjunk2008 Have you ever actually watched United play other than this season? So we didn't always play the best football this, we've had to adapt from 06-09 because we've lost big players. We still had great performances and results, we beat Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and City in the league+ plenty of dramatic comebacks, its been the most emotional season in a long time for United fans. You just don't see that cos you don't support them. Modric will bring more glory and drama 4 us!

the yorke and cole era was prob your most entertaining. they had an understanding, and a sick midfield backing them up.
some good comebacks from you this season, but pretty dry football overall though. which is why you want modric (just like you went for sheringham, carrick, berbatov). and we'll get our £45m if you are able to convince him that playing in a midfield with anderson and fletcher is more fun than playing alongside VdV.
