awesome I like this future pc...but the the only thing which is not good is that you have to use your hands and touch the screen...it is quite good to look at but I do not think it is practical for every day use... :)

Perhaps I'm not up on it now, but at the time I used it, Shareware and Freeware weren't popular, so what few programs you could find for you Linux Computer were expensive. I should know, my aunt used to have a Linux, and, to this day, I live no more than 5 miles from her house. If all of you hate MS, why do you watch a video showing the good points of a Windows OS? Hmm?

Xerox(PARC) developed the GUI first, but the suits didn't see a practical use for it so they gave it to Apple. Took a while for Microsoft to adapt it for PC, mostly due to the x86 architecture hadn't matured enough. NCSA created one of the first popular graphical browsers which later became Netscape Navigator. Internet Explorer was released a few years later. Flash started from a program called "FutureSplash Animator" developed by Jonathan Gay, most of his programing was done on Apple computers.

Again, I still have Internet Explorer and Flash. Both were first supported on PC, and there is NOTHING you can show to prove Mac had it first. And no one even buys Linux. It's a failed attempt at an OS. You think Vista's buggy, get a Linux. Jesus. And there's nothing that's Linux Compatible. try using it first then dis it. linux takes up little requirments compared to windows and all software for it is free. "Perhaps the OS is free, but the few programs that are compatible are expensive." no you download free patches for windows software and they work just as good as on windows. the fact is you dont know anything about linux you havent used it your just mad you payed the $400 price for the windows OS.

Actually, it was a free bonus on a computer that's specs should have set me back an extra $500. I honestly don't care about this anymore, since my last reply to another Linux Fanboy's comment was WEEKS ago. Windows 7 doesn't even matter to me, as Vista is working fine for me, and I don't need multitouch. My only words left on the matter: Whoever gets the product out first, gets it out first. They are the winners and hold rights on what they have created. You don't hear people bitching about...

So, they decided to "Upgrade to XP." How many Vista users dod you know that upgraded to Linux? In a recent study, it was found that Linux Users made up nearl 1.65% of all home computer users. Windows Users were 91.11%, Mac Users were at 2.6something%. Other made up the remainder. Now, I'm sending you to summer school to learn your spelling. Shoo. Apple and Commodore way beat MS to bringing computers into the home. MS did pull off one hell of a market saturation with Win95, though. (And the tech support world have been eating their headsets ever since.)

Sure, IE was released for Windows first. But it was not the first web browser; WorldWideWeb (1991) was (initially under NeXTSTEP). It was followed notably by Mosaic (1993), under Unix, finding its way to the Amiga before making it to the Mac and Windows. i'm glad someone in the world of youtube knows what there talking about. I myself am a Linux fan and really don't give two hoots or a holler about Windows in any way. But I did as well start off on Windows and would like to see them finally get a good OS out now that Bill Gates is retiring. But one can wish and dream, to me Windows will always run to many processes and will always be a system hog, but I could be wrong.
