A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
I've got a better idea... buy a GIANT monitor and use one of those guns people use for games to control your mouse from the other side of the room, now that's cool. Fuck this touch screen BS.
awesome I like this future pc...but the the only thing which is not good is that you have to use your hands and touch the screen...it is quite good to look at but I do not think it is practical for every day use... :)
I agree with this, I'm lazy and after a few minutes I'd get bored with it, it's nothing special. I'd rather just sit on my couch with my arm rested and use a mouse.
hi everyone, is the demonstration of the multi-touch interface
notebook a random pc notebook that Microsoft added multi-touch functionalities to or did Microsoft actually create the notebook shown in this demonstration?
And to "Random Letters For A Username," I have indeed used Linux. I didn't like it. Perhaps I'm not up on it now, but at the time I used it, Shareware and Freeware weren't popular, so what few programs you could find for you Linux Computer were expensive. I should know, my aunt used to have a Linux, and, to this day, I live no more than 5 miles from her house. If all of you hate MS, why do you watch a video showing the good points of a Windows OS? Hmm?
...Alex Graham Bell stealing the Telephone, yet he did. You don't hear people bitching about Galileo stealing the telescope. These people stole ideas that were inovative. Phones sure beat morse code. But when Bill Gates came along to inovate the Computer, he had to take a few things from others' work, but GUI beats the hell out of DOS. He got it out first. Maybe Apple had it in the works. But Gates got the patent. So don't whine about Windows, think about the past of the invention.
We should need two mouse on old pc without touchsceen maybe 95% of population, lol, we could no enlarge windows. I think that keyboard shortcuts cant be replaced like (ubuntu shortcuts). I think when Win7 will released Linux will kick ass to Win7.
...in Microsoft anymore. So, Bill Gates isn't stealing Apple's ideas. The company he started might be. But even then, what's to say Microsoft didn't have th eidea first, but found no proper way to implement it? Then, Mac would be stealing Microsoft's idea! But the world may never know... In closing, Apple isn't a saintly company. Microsoft isn't a devilish, I'll-steal-your-idea-because-I-can company. It's like Alex Graham Bell. He didn't invent the phone. But he DID get the patent first.
Xerox(PARC) developed the GUI first, but the suits didn't see a practical use for it so they gave it to Apple. Took a while for Microsoft to adapt it for PC, mostly due to the x86 architecture hadn't matured enough. NCSA created one of the first popular graphical browsers which later became Netscape Navigator. Internet Explorer was released a few years later. Flash started from a program called "FutureSplash Animator" developed by Jonathan Gay, most of his programing was done on Apple computers.
Why does everyone say "Microsoft steals everyone's idea?" or "Mac is better and more intuitive!"? Do you all realize that Apple stole Microsft's idea for the GUI? Or that Microsoft had the 1st internet browser? How 'bout the fact that Microsoft had the first flash-supportive system? (Which, by the way, allowed you to watch and rip on this video and Microsoft, respectively) So get your facts straight, people.
Sure. There would be no Mac if Xerox didn't invent it first, or if Bell hadn't invented UNIX for that matter. Had UNIX not been invented, none of what we see today would exist as it does today.
Take a guess on what the pretty MacOS X interface reminds me of. If you guessed GNOME 2.0, then you're right. Steve Jobs never stole an idea in his career. WRONG!!!
Ha! You actually believe that? He never had contact with Apple's secret programs, yet he stole Apple's idea? HA! But seriously, no one can contest the other 2 facts! I dare you to find some evidence of your claims! I FREAKIN' DARE YOU!
