Hmm... I noticed that since the old TA glitch is fixed, you just kept chaining your blocks away, but do you think it might be faster or allow a better score to use the same method as was done in Tetris Attack?

how does the move at 0:45 work? the one with the green circles..am I crazy or did you move that green circle two spaces with one switch??

You need to use both the A and B buttons. Slide or roll your thumb so that you hit one just after the other and after moving the cursor. So basically: A, move cursor, B.

You can actually use this technique to move a piece "through" a matching set, called a "stealth" by some. Say you have a configuration like this:

OXO

XOO

OXX

You can move the X in the second row to the other side with this move if it's quick enough.

@AbusedRib Oh wow, this stuff sounds very interesting. I will have to give it a try. I have been playing this game lately (I'm nowhere near as good as you) but every little trick helps. May I ask, how are you playing this game? What I mean is, are you on an emulator or a console? (I know it's not TAS, I'm just wondering if it's emulated or not) Also, how come your tiles look different from mine..that's probably a dumb question but your tiles look different from on my PPL game.

This is on console with the normal N64 controller. I haven't seriously played in about 5 years though.

You can change the style of the blocks in the settings.

Your chains are not bad at all. You are quick and efficient, and that helps alot. personally I like the ordinary battles ( with falling blocks ) the most.

@cagemusic74 Bah, combo shouldn't even be considered since large chains rack in more points by far. Average should be minimum of at least 9.25, and that's being harsh. I'd give him an 11.

The only place left to go from here is time lag chains, which are hard as hell, to be sure. But then you could perhaps squeeze 5 chains into the two minutes.

You certainly kick ass at this: you're definitely faster at moving blocks than I am, which certainly gives you tools for time lag that I don't yet have. I'd say I see the screen about as well as you do.
