unfortunately, most ppl do not know this, all they know is surgery , and gym which are all from outside. :) And most of them, like these methods, all did not work and can work counter of the goal too.
i just wanted to know because i am new to karate and tai chi what is the purpose of this and my other question is that is the human body a weapon and do humans know how to use it ?????

Also, as someone pointed out, it's easy to give yourself a headache at first. Don't try too hard, and really, don't close our eyes all the way, you don't want to fall asleep either. Keep them open partially. I find, as a beginner, it's easier to start with my eyes closed for only a few minutes and then it becomes easier to open them half way and retain that level of relaxation.
One last thing, meditation on it's own is only as wholesome and effective as you are. A total reconstruction of your life may make this that much more pure. Ditch the soda's, I personally only drink green tea, Jiagulan (not really known in the US yet and has more way more health benefit green tea alone, and water. I'm not here to start a dietary war but I'd watch that as well.

@townerroad: The middle fingers are the Pericardium channel. It is the protection part of her heart. You may need to see a doctor!
