  • Anyone else reminded of Phoebe from Friends? :D

  • does it matter wether u do it with ur left hand or right?

  • NLTismine4ever me 2

  • this is sad every one of these videos the comments talk about switched at birth because god knows the only way people well every want to learn something new is when its on a popular t.v. show.

  • What hand do you use for yesterday

  • Mysterious sign language courses: sl.cxx.ca

  • My boyfriend is deaf and im trying to learn sign language just for him(: Anyone else going through the same thing?

  • SEW-RY...SEW-RY...SEW-RY....lol

  • Question......Can you use any hand or has to be the right hand?

  • Does it matter which hand you use, like for sorry, does it have to be the right hand??

  • @dontbecritical I am not really an expert. However, I BELIEVE your dominant hand is used.

  • thanks lady

  • ... you people sitting there because you want to learn it because of some stupid TV show. What about the fact that deaf people have rights to and they deserve to be understood and talk just like you do!

  • @ellock1998 Um it's not just some tv show. It is actually very inspiring. So maybe thats not the only reason we're here. Maybe u should start watching it. It's actually very good.

  • wow i actually want to help children when i grow up and you guys are here because youre brainwashed by a t.v show wow...

  • @123goigoi Excuse me? Maybe that TV show inspired us! Maybe we want to learn sign language too! Maybe we will need that skill someday for a career opportunity or if our child or loved one goes deaf. What if we had never watched that show, then we wouldn't be inspired, and would have never even cared. It's not called brain washing, it's called a good message. Don't judge.

  • @123goigoi THANK. YOU. i feel the same

  • I'm here b/c a Korean drama 'can you hear my heart' not switched at birth

  • Am I the only one that's not here because of Switched at Birth?

  • @HaleJayRo I love sign language and I think it is important to understand what deaf people have to go through every day of their lives. I already know sign and I learned it for a friend when I was in high school. We went to prom together and he was amazingly sweet. They constantly have to try and read lips and it is a struggle for them to communicate every day. Why can't we just put in a small amount of effort and try and understand their language?

  • this is what happens when the love of your life is deaf +)

  • me too

  • She throwin up tha C's

  • switched st birth is the only reason 4 me to

  • Lol switched at birth made me want to kno s.l lol

  • and there`s finally something positive coming from watching tv shows,i think it`s great that so many people got inspired,it`s always useful to be educated about the different things and not judge or fear them

  • And when sab goes out of style so will sign... *sigh*

  • yes! i dont feel alone now that i know people came here cuz of switched at birth

  • @rsgirl10 It's a TV show about two girls who were switched at birth and given to the wrong families. One of the girls on the show is dead.

  • SWITCHED AT BIRTH BROUGHT ME HERE.

  • I am learning sign language because of Switched At Birth!! :)

  • NOT THE BEST SIGNER! NOT ASL

  • ASL is my primary language. Your sign for clock is incorrect. You should take ASL 1 class again... The sign for "clock" is same as you sign for "time". Don't teach a language if you are not fluent in!

  • im here because of switched at birth to

  • I love how the description says you learn Mom, Dad, baby, girl, boy, happy, and house when you really learn Later, Stop, Yesterday, Clock, and sorry. Awwwkward. :P haha

  • So I'm not the only one who's here because of Switched at Birth? LOL. I just stared watching today, and I really want to learn how to sign. I don't know how to explain, it just looks cool, the way the hand movements are. I like it. :)

  • @ReadingJunkiexD i know it just looks fun

  • ok thanks so much bellasara1998!!!

  • Omg. I really started to love asl when i started watching switched at birth

  • L word is later, there are regional differences that's why it's American. There's British and Chinese and more. I started learning to sign a long time ago but switched at birth got me started again. I wanna watch the show and know eat there saying

  • what IS the L word?

  • I've always wanted to sign, but Switched At Birth really got me to do it.

  • lol switched at birth has got everyone wanting to learn asl including me :) haha

  • omg me 2

  • Is there one sign language in all countries or are there regional differences?

  • @skydragon4ever there are regional differences. there is ASL which is american sign language and a BSL which is british

  • Chuck Norris can hear sign language.

  • Im here because of the L word

  • All I got in this video was random idiotic animation.

  • ...and so-rry. I'm sorry that was just... Canadian?

  • your sign for clock is incorrect

  • Hey guys...look at the subs! It tells you how to make "mom, dad, baby girl, boy, happy and house"

  • Comment removed

  • @Peachiiz1 Same here

  • omg me too

  • @Peachiiz1 me too :D

  • @Peachiiz1 Hahaha. Tell me about it. That's why I'm here :)

  • IF you really want to learn, you should learn like a child learn a language, learn some songs, learn the alphabet, learn to count, learn some words, learn some phrases, and keep learning!

  • In ESL you sign “I have two sisters”, I would make a sign for each words. In ASL you would sign “two” and “sister” and then point to myself so you‘re signing “two sisters, me.” ESL is the right language to use and makes sense. When I was little I always had a hard time signing with a few kids who used the ASL, majority of them never made sense. When the ASL users write an essay they never made sense on what they‘re writing and trying to say because of the ASL, our teacher had to correct them.

  • Thats cool nice video

  • Where do you live?

  • she sounds Canadian, the only way i can tell is the way she says sorry! i already new all these ones so imma go!

  • I recently began dating a guy whose mother is deaf from an accident as a child. His father, who has passed, was also deaf and so the guy i am dating is fluent in sign language. I would like to be able to talk with his mother without him sometimes and thought I would try your videos. I have not been back to see her or told him im trying but I want to surprise him without looking silly. How should I approach this? Also his mother is older and if we stay together id like to help care for her too.

  • @TheMistymysnow, the library has books, if you want to spend a little money, but the galludet sign language book, Galludet is the deaf school in Washington DC. I also learned by learning the word to things I do during the day, in phrasing!

  • i love daphene and bay on that show

  • I'm here because of switched at birth too :D

  • I'M here because of Switch at Birth :P

  • this is so cool.. im learning this just because its interesting :)

  • This video isn't even about what the title says. Or what the description says. Ugh!

  • awesome ;)

  • they way she says SORRY hahahaahh funny

  • @TheSaka24 she sounds mega canadian!!!

  • I'm learning to speak to the deaf, and to talk when I have a very sore throat.

  • I'm learning ASL because my nephew can hear but will never be able speek. Now i need a way to teach my mother who is blind.

  • that is actually the older sign for later...

  • I must be one of the few people here who are trying to learning to learn sign language NOT because of a crappy poorly acted Disney/ABC family show.

  • I just start to learn ASL recently, am hard of hearing. I can sign some simple words now. I joined a great deaf daing site, ----Deafornot dot c om----, and met some good deaf/HOH friends over there. They help me to learn ASL.

  • She pronounces sorry strangely. Like dinoSAURY.

  • I'am not deaf or have any member of my family with this problem, I just think it's an amazing language, so as the people who use it

  • imbeastafulicious: that inspired me to learn sign language

  • my boyfriend is not deaf r anything he jus cant talk..sooo im learning it to communicate better with him since i can talk

  • i am learning so mch from you =)

  • I'm here because i just found out Im be a father and heard babies learn faster thru images. Plus itll be nice to know a different language.

  • @SYNCEREINC Same here. I have a three month old and am teaching him sign language, English, and Spanish. Babies can learn to do signs before they learn to speak, so the baby will be able to communicate earlier. This cuts down on temper tantrums and stress, since the baby will be able to tell you what it wants.
