E-Readers need a few things before I am interested: They must be cheap (under $100), we must have the Right of First Purchase, I must be able to give an e-book away or sell it or lend it, the reader must be as tough as an actual book, it must have a solar panel and the e=books must also be cheap (under $5). So I won't be buying an e-reader within my lifetime. Not to mention many books will never be digitized.
People already spread books online. e-books. people spend time typing up whole books and then sharing them via various underground forums or what not.
OK, some time in the near future, I need to relisten to this video without looking at the distractingly cute pictures of you when you were younger. But for now, let me just say that you were just that: distractingly cute.
I don't think I'll ever buy digital books. I don't even burrow books from the library because I'm obsessed with owning every book I read;P. That will probably change when I go to university and need the money for.. food and stuff.. but digital books are just.. less magical;P
I think that digital books won't be able to replace the paper ones. At least not when the experience of reading from a screen stays so different from reading a normal book.
I don't like to read much from a computer screen, it'll make your eyes hurt ;p
And books are easier to carry and take into bed and stuff. Also they don't need the wires or need to be charged or need a mouse or anything.
ooh on books.. I don't think the electronic thing will be able to replace real books.. I get emotionally attached too.. and I like pages and paper and stuff :)
Books will probably get a lot cheaper though when they're digital.. it might be the best solution to make sure lots of books can be published.. but I think I'll stick to actual, 'real' books xD

My thoughts on the future of books:
I think that digital books won't be able to replace the paper ones. At least not when the experience of reading from a screen stays so different from reading a normal book.

So paper books ftw!!
Yeaaay! xD

I deleted it. Grammatical error :D
I have the laptop from my dad's work in my room and it's protected in EVERY possible way. So no MSN for me. I'm usually on the gmail chat thingy.
