I feel you. im scared for my dog rex to die. hes a pitbull. i hate how people give pitbulls a bad rap. its the dosche bags who fight them is what makes people scared of them.but if i lose rex i would cry my eyes out. until i cry blood. its the bond with you and sharky that puts a smile on my face everytime i watch your videos. and it makes me juss want to play with rex every day and minute of my life and his life.

I lost two of my dogs in six months.. My Mastiff/Rottie mix past away infront of my bedroom door.. and my other dog past away at the begining of the month of Cancer in the stomach.. and i never got a chance to say goodbye to neither of them :(.. I had my Mastiff/Rottie for 7 years and my other dog Huskey/Lab since i was 6.. So that was 16 years.. And we had been through so much together and he was gone just like that :( Cherish the time you have with them cause you dont know when they'll be gone

Helen, your big fear of losing one of your beloved pets is something that I am still dealing with. I lost my beautiful Rottweiler to cancer in Jan. 03 and still feel as much sadness as then. I became a foster to hard to place Pitbulls and Rottweilers. They can never replace the pet, but I feel that I am allowing others a chance to have a good life that may never have had if I didn't help them. Keep building memories, that will carry you through when it is time to say goodbye.

I remember when my dogs died. I was so devastated. I was at the military so could not even said goodbye. I had a german sheperd and a mutt. I loved my mutt more cause he was with me the longest. It was funny cause at the end most of my family members didn't wanna touch him cause he was old and ugly. But I loved him ayways

Your biggest fear is mine also...I tell my pups every day that I love them and that I am so glad they are my buddies...some days, it's several times...I always know that if something happens...they know, their daddy loves and will love them. They give so much love...I just try to match it!

I kn what you mean about losing someone, be it human or animal. I lost a friend recently, then two months later, lost my baby bird who we fought to keep alive basically his entire life.

I understand you fear of loss., I lost my baby ( who looked a little like Sharky) after 15 years. ( I contend the only thing God could have done better, was to give dogs a longer life) But I can tell you with absolute certainty, that we meet them again after we pass on. Once we cross the Rainbow Bridge, they are all there, waiting for us. They are even called on to give testimony in our Judgment as we stand before the Karmic Board. Don't fear. Let Go,and Let God.
