The defendant fucked up 1st by standing up in court when the judge entered the room, this establishes juristiction. He also fucked up by saying he "understands", this statement told the court that stands under the court and therefore he submitted himself to commercial law. He should of had someone represent him with his birth certificate and he "his physical body" should not have been present.
Judges are utterly useless. Educated juries are more reliable for defending our rights. Time to abolish the Judiciary system and revert back to the Constitution's original plan.

He didn't know what the judge was going to say before he went into court but It was a safe bet that he wasn't interested in the truth, only generating revenue. I too thought it would be simple enough to answer your questions, but after hearing them, I don't think its the judges job to give you a law education. It would be a tremendous amount of waste of time and money. I only have a rudimentary knowledge of law and these questions were silly. I do believe that this is why lawyers are provided for free in criminal cases.

It's not fair, but when they go golfing this weekend and the judge has his golf fees, drinks and massage with the "happy ending" paid for out of the fees you paid to your attorney, they can discuss letting you off with a "lesser penalty" if you plea to something.

Actually, driving WOULD be a common right. It is the manner of conveyance that was uncommon. No one ever had their right to "drive", a term used to reference directing a number of animals, removed. And once the MANNER of conveyance became common, so then was conveyed the extension of the right to "drive". The "governments" roads are the roads of "we the people", and as such, are OUR roads to begin with, built and paid for by OUR dollar.

One regulation the public has applied to roads is that no one may drive on them without a license. Unless you can point to a federal law or an article of the constitution that would preempt the state's right to regulate their own roads, there's no reason why the state cannot require a license.
