MKII...Vinyl is not the "beginning" it's a format. The format that is able to reproduce (because of its limitations) frequencies that will please your brain. The listener like usual is a victim of the player... so if one does not want to act like the market on the worker, respect your listener and provide good frequencies in order for him to be happy and safe.
The bottom line is whatever makes the crowd feel good not what makes the DJ feel good. Music is evolving so is the DJ. Either keep up or keep old , it's up to you . If you want to be the cool hip oldster from the old school spinning vinyl go for it plenty to go around otherwise stop hating and start spinning !
FUCK DIGITAL DJS KEEP VINYL ALIVE, SUPORT YOUR LOACL RECORD SHOP, SUPORT THE DJ CULTURE, DIGING, SUPORT THE LOVE OF VINYL, DONT LET THIS DIGGITAL AGE KILL IT.
i was reading reviews about this product and a few people said that there is a problem with the audio and the mic and i went to idjnow and they said that there is suppose to be coming out with i guess a upgraded version but i cant find any info in this douse any1 no what day this is happening ?
@TheStudeo74 The end of vinyl? Do you not release that Serato Scratch is still huge? I'm looking into buying the VCI-300MkII, but only because as a small-timer, I don't have the capacity to lug around my Technics all the time. Vinyl will always be the beginning, but things evolve- no reason not to mix in a little new-school technique.
I've got to give you props Deeznotes. Excellent job tearing it up on the 1's and 2's. I've been spinning records since 1986 and still have my original 1200's. I'm in the process of converting my vinyl collection and shopping for a DJ controller /software solution. You've got me sold. Thanks for the demonstration. Best wishes to you.
I just purchased the Numark NS7 and i must say it is the best controller out there (my opinion). I test drove the VCI-300 and it felt a little fragile to me. This dude can definately kill it. I do admit it does take a lil practice on the NS7 to get the hang of it as well as the VCI-300. But either way, controllerism is the future of dj-ing! Peace!
Hey guys i was thinkin of grabbin the vci 300 also , i have used serato scratch live for a while and have had the i skin for the macbook on serato scratch live , and in your video i see that you also have one too, is that for iskin for the serato itch or scratch live. can i use the scratch live i skin with itch are all key strokes the same like sensor, cue, adn all
there's still nothing like REAL vinyl turntablist but this is definitely the future of dj-ing! good god! there's things you cant even do with vinyl on this shit. its unlimited the amount of concepts. try it out! i did and it made my penis 6 inches longer!
@dimviesel totally agree with u...REAL VINYL = REAL DJ... when you r mixing with thouse kind of controllers you dont look like a real dj ( my point of view )
this unit is just too pricy...its a beefed up of the VCI 100 with the Vestax logo on it....not worht the price ...i dont care how good it is....ur minds as well get the eks xp5 or xp10 for $160 each.
dude, its more than a beefed up vci 100 it has a built in soundcard/interface.....its PLUG AND PLUAY with Serato itch. It's got the headphone jack right there on the unit. Serato itch is an awesome program, kicks Traktors ass
i tried using this controller at guitar center today and if you're used to turntables it'll really take some getting used to. so mad props to deez for juggling on this controller and making it look easy.
nice skills, but there's no point in play in a controller like this trying to emulate the way to play vynils. no sense! Hey DJs, please turn the page.. we're in XXI century!
Sorry i meant "features" example: I read that the VCI-300 has an output to plug in a cd player(cdj)in case someone wants you to play a cd youll have that option on the VCI-300.. will the NS7 have that option/feature??

Well Serato... thank you for participating to the end of vinyl... and by extension to the end of mechanical rights.
Anyway this new toy looks like a lot of fun especially for those who have small fingers and weak back ;)

@gamm75 So you don't look like a real dj??
A real dj makes people dance in a club a real dj entertains what does it matter what they look like?
A lot of so called dj's a up there own arse pricks and don't have the skills.
Vinyl is slowly leaving us, ok i miss it but there is nothing better than the convenience of all the music on a pc.

Why not get a decent job and then you could afford it? Oh, it's because you can barely speak English.
