the worst thing for Romeo in this was that as he is starting to die, Juliet stirs and awakens, and he "see's it" but, he can't really know if it's even real at that point, because he's dying and he just drank an insane amount of poison.

Then you've got Juliet awakening to this scene, worse than a bad dream. Can this be real?? Imagine having to have to deal with something that heavy after you just woke up from the deepest sleep in YOUR LIFE!!!! Great moment on film.
