Im a die hard Type o fan, and I understand that the original always seems better. Thats just how it is. But if your like me and you love Type O, you love this song. The only bad cover I can actually say Type O made was Light My Fire. Type O literaly demolished that cover and Pete knew it, besides that I have to be honest, I love their covers and think this cover has such a big sound, like all Type O music does. I have respect for Neil, he created this, but TON capitalized like always.

I saw them in '91 and I saw them shortly before Peter passed away, they were as good then as they were then. Peter had a divine voice that didn't fail him any time I saw them live. And I saw them live in the early 90's till just before he passed, I believe I saw them ~ 10 times.

I am a teenager and I grew up listening to type o negative and various other bands that make REAL music. I appreciate REAL music, not the shit you get when you turn on the radio or see the Top 40. I love these bands and they have shaped my life. Everyone else I know my age drifts from what's 'hot' at the moment to the next top thing (all of which are absolute rubbish), but they will never know the genius and awesome-nous that is Type O Negative and other bands that have STOOD THE TEST OF TIME!!

If people do not like a song, then why the fuck did you come here to start with? Do you have absolutely no life that you need to click songs you dont listen to just to say the 3rd grade comeback: "You Guys Suck" or "This Sucks"?
This is why kids should not be on the comp without adult supervision. Go back to your passing year long fad Beibe and the likr. Real music like this will be made and enjoyed for decades.

I can actually understand those that click "do not like". Let's say, for example, that they're fans of Neil Young, but don't like heavier sounds. They clicked the link to this song because they wanted to hear a "Cinnamon Girl" cover, but then they decided that it wasn't their kind of music. I'm cool with that, I respect their tastes.
I agree on the idiots who write "this sucks" etc.If they want to leave a negative comment, they should at least justify it.

@SvenTviking As far as not liking the song, I can't disagree...not their best remake, and not their best song by a longshot; but as far as your comment on the untimely death of Pete Steele; both a great songwriter/performer & an otherwise pretty awesome, down to earth human being, here's an idea for ya:

This song was on the mix cd my husband made for me on the day that he asked me out! ^^ Love Type O Negative. Glad he introduced me to them. Too bad we never got to see them live. RIP Pete.

@ladyodessasilvererg Last time I saw Type O was about 2 1/2 years ago. Peter Steele was so broken and beat down that he had to practically sit on an amp stack. They stopped putting on really good live shows like 10 years ago.

@KeithCappuccio You're wrong. I've seen them many times and Peter had some health issues recently but you're just WRONG. I saw them in '91 and I saw them shortly before Peter passed away, they were as good then as they were then. Peter had a divine voice that didn't fail him any time I saw them live. And I saw them live in the early 90's till just before he passed, I believe I saw them ~ 10 times.
