  • Great Continuity !

  • This is great!!! I love Jaws & Martha`s Vineyard.

  • Are you steve carell?

  • excellent, do you have a map with the locations on the island?

  • looks like a good time guys, if i ever find myself up in the NE, this is my unofficial video tour guide. thanks

  • Excellent job. Well done and thanks for sharing.

  • fantastic,,, a joy to watch many thx for posting

  • this video is so good how did you get it just right

  • My mom has told me about when they were filming Jaws and she got to be one of the people on the beach, even though i've been to all those places its still really cool to see that history behind them

  • what a waste of time.... get a life!

  • @elfinchya Go fuck yourself, i love mv and jaws. like you have anything better to do than watch ten minutes of a video you dont like just so you can troll on it in the comments

  • @elfinchya Not a waste at all. I have always wanted to visit the shooting locations of Jaws. My favorite film. And it looks like a beautiful place to vacation anyways.

  • Fantastic! I am glad there are other people as obsessed about these things as I am! Well done!

  • Love the care you've taken with this. REALLY fun to watch.

  • AAA+ FIRST RATE!

    Nice job sir!

  • ace job, cheers

  • Been there done that!

  • GREAT job!!! What a labor of love.

  • This is truely great! This is my fav. movie of all time ever since i was like almost 3 years old and my mom and dad took me along when they went to see it at the movie theater. It scared the hell right outta me and its been my all time fav. ever since. Glad to see that alot of the scenery has not changed. Thanks for posting, you all did a great job.

  • thats funny as hell. well done though, i really enjoyed that!!!

  • this is great. jaws was the 1st film i saw at the old a.b.c. in summer 1976 (aged 9) in my home town in england which was about 500 yards away from the sea. :O.. still one of my favs.

  • Scenario for a potential thriller/horror movie :

Tourists are attracted to island where famous killer-shark movie was filmed. Suddenly, one day, whilst bathing near one of the locations, two of them are attacked and killed by.. a large shark.. The local chief-of-police is called in to investigate..

(very good video by the way.. well done!)

  • this was awsome jaws is the best movie ever AWSOME

  • THIS WAS BRILLIANT SOME TEARS SHED THANX

  • Fantastic video! Jaws is probably my favourite movie and I loved seeing those locations as they are now, some hardly changed from way back in 1975. I can't believe the wreck of the Orca is still there! I think I may have to come to Martha's Vineyard sometime soon for a holiday. Well done indeed.

  • Why is Chief Brody's house a completely different house from the one you show? Did they tear it down & rebuild it?

  • Outstanding! My final location to complete my 80's journey across the country. Joseph Sylvia Beach correct?

  • @pacedom1 Most people just call it state beach lol

  • Bravo! Who lives in the house of chef Brody?

  • I can't believe they let that stuff rot on the shore like that. It's a sin!

  • Excellent. They should put this on the forthcoming Blu Ray :)

  • I would like to say this is awesome .

    I love jaws movie.

    Thank you for the memory.

I missed the year in 1976.

  • Marvellous! Excellent job, congratulations! Jaws is one of my favorite films ever. I'm touched...

  • excellent vid, again must have taken a while to do! the place looks magical! as if you were in the film and about to meet brody! its nice to see after all the years people visit the set of the best shark movie evermade!

  • Great job!!

  • This is fantastic, well done, it must of taken a while. Best movie ever, hoping to make a trip to Martha's Vineyard soon. Great stuff!

  • haha what a great video its one of my favourite movies.a lot of it hasn,t changed at all.would love to go sometime.thanks for the video!

  • Great job! You must have had a blast recreating the scenes and walking in the same steps. Thanks for sharing this.

  • your wife´s hot hehe

  • What a great video.

I've often wondered where they filmed Jaws since watching it as a kid.

really informative and well put together.

    Thanks

  • that is so neat! the town looks like it hasn't changed much :)

  • The remains of Orca 2 is the small tub shaped remains to the right of the large boat remains.

  • I like his little Brody skip at 1:38.

  • Fantastic really enjoyed this :-)

  • Fantastic! I was stunned to see that wreckage of one of the "Orcas" sets is STILL there after all these years. All of these film locations should be candidates for National Historic Registered Landmark status. That may see odd to some, but Jaws is a big part of American motion picture history.

  • This is brilliant...........really nice, well-put-together tribute. The shot composition and angels are spot-on! Must have taken ages to get right!! Really good stuff, makes me want to go there!

  • Excellent.........

  • Is the boat still there???????

  • Amazing!!!!congratulations!!!!!!

  • Wonderful job, just watched the film again last night so this was great surprise today. I can't believe they have preserved the Orca and camera boat wreckage...!

  • can u actually go and hv a look at the orca like close up or is it forbidden?

  • @animefan0258 Orca 2 is now gone. The owner of the land it sat on chopped up the remains. To keep tourists away. Sad

  • @randy65211 awwws which u can actually see it up close and personal well at least the remains are still there :/

  • That was great! Where is the filming barge located?

  • NICE! Thanks for sharing.

  • Wow great job!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha this is great...how could you dislike this...a lot of work involved! this is sweet!

  • Fantastic..... good job

  • Excellent. Kudos to you and your wife. That looked like a lot of fun!

  • I...Have never had more respect for any movie fan anywhere in the world on any project!! - that wa the coolest thing i have ever seen online..Jaws is in my top 10 of all time for film ...and to think in the end there that that might be the ORCA! - i would have taken some wood from the ORCA and built a table and sang ' Show me the way to go home " around it with all my buddies each weekend...life would be so complete!!....best part?...your wife laughing as she yelled SHARK!!! - such good humor 10

  • WHERE R THE QRCA 2 in MV

  • absolutely fantastic i love the film to and you have done us all proud

  • What an awesome, and i bet really fun, thing to do! Thank you for it. I've loved this movie since i was a kid and have always wanted to visit "Amity Island" :)

  • Amazing job!!!!

  • Well done!! How did you find all those locations?

  • GREAT !

  • great work!

  • brilliant thanks

  • WOW! What an awesome job you both did! Jaws has been my all-time fav movie since I first saw it, so this was quite a treat. I even have a "Ben Gardner's Fishing Charters" T-shirt, and have yet to pay out the 100 dollers to the first random person who gets it!! Keep up the good work!!

  • This is great! Thank you so much. I've made two trips to Martha's Vineyard and in both cases I was very pressed for time and travelling with non-fans of "Jaws" who didn't see the point and the fun of tracing as many steps as possible.

I was there as recently as 13 days ago and still relish the memories.

Wish I could have made the trip with you two -- your interest in this is right up my alley!!

  • This is GREAT! Thanks for the post

  • i love this type of thing, film locations and stuff.icant believe the orca is still there.great job as well i enjoyed it.

  • o_O THE REAL ORCA 2!!!

i cant believe its a ctually still there

  • Wow!You should win an award for this film from us fellow Jaws fans. You did some good research to find these locations and the boat that they used..Can't believe it is still around. Thanks for the great work.

  • real cool great job

  • Awesome!! I'm from MV-My mom met my stepdad when he was on MV working on Jaws. We moved to L.A. and they got married. I haven't been back for 20 years, so Thanks for showing me the differences!! Makes me want to visit again...............

  • Very nice..You really did your homework on this location..Well put together..I live in Mass but never been there..I live in Fall River home to Lizzie Borden & close to New Bedford..

  • My parents have a place near the Gayhead Cliffs ... you and your wife did a fantastic job. Well done.

  • Did they really leave the orca boat washed up on the shore? And its still there after all these years.

    What an excellent film.Well done

  • i have been to almost all of those locations, in fact, i saw the last of the orca yesterday on marthas vineyard

it is a really beautiful island :)

  • @saltspar I saw it today and am sad to say there is about 1/3 left of what was there 4 yrs ago

  • @Jetryder223 yea, we visit every year and each time we see it more and more is gone. :(

  • Fantastic job! You guys did your research...and practically captured every location! JAWS is my favorite movie, too! Made me wish I was with you tracking down these spots. Thanks for making and posting the video!

  • Great...really enjoyable... :-)

  • Thanks for that, I'm a fan of many OLD films, and Jaws is definately close to my heart. Great video, would love to do that myself one day. How hard was it to locate the exact beach locations?

  • Dude, this is freaking awesome!!!

And I think dude was joking about Jaws 3D. At least I hope he was.

  • Flawless work! What a very cool video, I liked the re-creation of Chief Brody's walk through town. Definitely 5 five stars.stunning work.

  • 2:50 even the color of the water changed lol

  • This video deserves more than 22k views, come on people start watching !!!.

  • That is amazing! I'm surprised they left the boat there as well as the crane,

  • I saw the movie with my lil brother when I was 12yrs old. This is really emotional for me. I came to America because of movies. After 20yrs in motion pix, I still get starstruck anyone cast or crew associated with Jaws. The set props told me a wonderful story about Steven Spielberg and himself when Robert Shaw 1st reported fro work which I cherished to this day. Thank you guys so much for the pilgrimage

  • thats pretty cool!! nice video thanks for the location tour!!

  • Nice work dude. One of my all time favorite films. It's amazing to me that most of the practical locations are exactly the same today as they were back in 1977. Did you get an opportunity to get on to the Orca?

  • 2 people din't like this video, WHY bother rating ?

    I like !

  • Great job and how much fun was that? It's one of my all-time favorite movies as well!

  • Nicely done. Waiting for the warm weather to return back to MV. The scenery on State Beach and Edgartown hasn't changed all that much. That's a good thing!

  • you two are really funny and clever and it must have been a thrill making this,,

    i envy you :)

    10/10 brilliant

  • That was very entertaining

  • so cool it must have been fun. it would have given me chills to see all those old film spots I am a huge Jaws fan

  • Very cool that so many locations remain virtually the same (even the benches around the "Help! Shark!" billboard look untouched). If it was anywhere other than Martha's Vineyard, most of the spots would have been leveled.

  • Very cool... nicely done!

  • those houses look nothing alike.

  • awesome video! 5 stars for sure :)

  • Love your video. Can't believe it's the 35th Anniversary this year.

  • Pretty cool stuff.Still love JAWS 35 years later and still scares the crap out of me every time!

  • thats clever, id love to go to them places, cape cod and marthas vineyard.

  • Very good work!

  • What a fun idea... it was great.

  • What a riot. Your attention to detail is phenomenal. I dont know how you found every spot and angle, but its to be very much commended.

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting!

  • Some people doubt the truth of this but I am one of the people you see in the background during the billboard scene. I was on Marthas Vineyard in 1973 when I was 22. I can be seen in the scene where Richard Dreyfuss is sitting on the rock. I am blue jeans with a hat and a girl next to me. My 5 seconds of fame. Not so hard to believe actually. I was just in the right place at the right time. And the rock is till there. Thanks for this. Brought back the memories again.....JT

  • Good job! Glad I didn't go in the water this past weekend when I was there!

  • By the way: what a great idea! It was a joy to watch your little movie. I live on the Vineyard and it was a lot of fun to discover places I never knew were on the movie!

    Thank you.

  • At 5.20 you can see the Gay Head Lighthouse in Aquinnah. Obama was up there and visited the lighthouse 2 weeks ago.

  • Thank You for a trip down memory lane. I was in Edgartown in 1998 and viewed the downtown core which included seeing Kelly's House which was where the cast & crew of JAWS stayed during filming.

  • superb i really enjoyed it well done

    ken from northern ireland

  • As a movie fan ..I appreciate the effort you put into making this. It was very enjoyable. Sometimes you think everything is made at a studio or in Canada....lol :O)

  • I love this video! My husband and I and some friends just came back from a visit to Martha's Vinvard, and we visited many of these sights, including the harware store, the town hall. I met and shook hands with Jeffrey Voorhese (Alex Kittner), and yes we went to the lovely village of Menemsha, and saw the boat! Could't get close to it, because it's on a strip of beach, that is a twenty mile walk around (no car). only about 1 min acrossed the pond, but, no boat ! so close yet so far, sigh !

  • top class
