If CBS Cancells this show it's because they are stupid. One of the best shows ever. They should definetly count the persons that watch it through the internet. For example I am from Portugal and i am not counting for the ratings though I watched every single episode through the internet. Jericho Rules and if they cancel this show again they can bet that they will receive NUTS from Portugal.

In the promo for the second season is the use of a steam train and I couldn't figure out why and then it hit me. When a nuclear bomb is detonated it gives off what's known as an Electromagnetic Pulse or EMP. This Emp makes all electrical components it comes in contact with useless but railroad steam engines do not need electronics to run. They simply run on a boiler which makes steam which powers the wheels which makes the engine move. Too bad they have to wreck it by ramming it into a tank.

For one, Valente isn't the head of the CIA....he's only in charge of collecting and disposal of old soviet nuclear weapons so they don't get into terrorist hands (36 hours before the attacks episode, and it comes up on Hawkins computer later on) and for 2, having watched the first three episodes, I'm not so sure he is the man in charge.
