  • Midlife Crisis

  • cool!

  • it could be easier with 2 arduino chips

  • @MrErnijs - Yes, but the point was to make a LEGO piano.

  • really great Thanks for that! I Like it!

  • You are a genius. Now you just have to make a cooler sound... My suggestion would be to use some sort of gear-work rapidly triggering a touch sensor that corrugates the sound into a sort of rapid pulse. Then you could try for some simple LFO (yeah right!)

  • would this be possible with multiple fingers?

  • In that case each finger should have it's own string.

  • lol

  • nice!!

  • hahahaha!!!!!

    pretty cool

  • nice!!!!!!

  • Very cool design!

  • UBER COOOL!

  • wats the pull thingy for that goes up and down

  • That's a counter weight. The string around my finger turns the blue angular sensor and this is how the RCX finds out where on the "keyboard" that my finger is pointing. The counter weight is necessary for the string to rewind when I move the finger back.

  • Nice, very nice.

  • awesome :)

  • very nice....i wish i was that good....

  • lol you should do the mario theme

  • haha this one is great! how did u program with the rotation sensor? i dont know how, well never have tried programing one

  • It's not that difficult. I used the standard Robotics Invention System 2.0 that came with the set. I have two parallel program strings: The first reads the rotation sensor and displays it. The other string is activated by the touch sensor and splits the rotation sensors value into 25 cases by 5 levels of yes/no switchpoints. Each case gets a frequency.
