@luvmyPT92ss Nissan CVT would woop a** against a manual, no shifts needed no shift delay like a standard manual or standard Auto I was against them at first but being able to put the foot to the floor, and the motor just stays in the power band the whole time. There is a down side to them, and that is they still get to hot, so they cant exactly do this 24/7 like you could with a manual. However if they figure out how to cure the heat issue they will be Gold.

@alamrisa very true manuals are fun to drive, but sadly I have a feeling that as my generation gets older we will see less, and less manual transmissions in use :( im 30 so that should give some perspective. I will miss the manuals a lot when they go. I will be that old grumpy man holding on to a jewel of a car when every one has switched over to the auto drive crap.

@Ilovewinter there's a weight difference, but also there's a HP difference, the touareg pulls off 350hp, the camry only does 190hp and with little exrtra i'd say around 210-220hp>. the touareg has a close ratio 6-speed gearbox, unlike the camry's long 5 speeds... i actually hit 135mph in 4th gear

im actually serious iv raced it b4, its a fast turbo charged engine. While my touareg is just a beast at only v6.

Thing is, vw has computer chiped engines, before racing they have to be revved over 4000 rpm to change its mode.

I hate to be the one to say something but, Camrys dont run 14's stock...A MKiii's dont have 280 hp stock.I wish they did , they have more like 180hp to the ground...And run low 15's to high 15's depending the the driver. I can walk a MKiii with just some monster size cams in my Scirocco..Which is just a 2.0 16v..

Did getting the headers make a noticable difference (already have catback exhaust & intake). My question is: did u custom make your headers or would the 'solara' ones work (would assume some sort of light modding). Wicked nice camry too.
