Actually the 1966 (aired on TV in 1969) Dragnet movie is the best of them all but still has not seen release on VHS or DVD. I have a copy taped from TV about 20 years ago. Maybe if Shout releases Dragnet 1969 they will include it as it aired during that season.

@storrs19 The 1969 TV movie is included on Shout Factory's "Dragnet '68" box set. Dragnet '69 was released in December 2010. Shout Factory is doing a much better job of releasing these shows than Universal did.

I have the DVD of the 1954 and 1987 movie. Sgt. Friday is still the by the book cop.
