Oh, and don't rag on Meadowlark. Her success my be hindering poor Clover, but sometimes that happens when you want to accomplish your dreams. She tries her hardest to bring out the best in her baby sister. She herself knows how hard it is for Clover to live up to her reputation and I think that in turn makes her feel guilty. But of she didn't truly love her sister, she would not have been in tears with a big smile on her face after Clover performed.

I love this episode. I find it very hard to poke fun at it like I usually do with the others. The pressure Clover feels is very real. We all want to live up to the expectations we have that come from our siblings, our parents and our own fears. These expectations can leave someone feeling unwanted and unloved. Meadowlark is absolutely right, some people never really get the chance to see there own potential. But of course, in the end, lucky little Clover gets her chance to truly shine!

Holy cow, where are you getting the idea of Clover's sister being such a mean pony? In every episode she's been in she's shown nothing but love and compassion for her baby sister. It's certainly not her fault if the parents treat them differently. I think Clover's really lucky to have a sibling that cares so much about her. Lord knows mine hates me and I can't even tell you why.

I'm with you. Of course her parents treat them differently, they're different people.. er ponies. It doesn't mean they love one of them more or less than the other. And Meadowlark isn't mean at all, she cares deeply for her baby sister and wants her to be the best she can be.

Oh and about your siblings not liking you, I can shed some light on that.

I really don't like Clover's sister. She makes Clover miserable. If her friends even say that Medolark is better than her, then she must feel terrible. Her parents even like Medolark better. Thats just terrible. I would never want to live up to that. She's such a snob and acts like she's too good for anyone that's not perfect.
