I cant wait for HanbitSoft to reopen the servers. Althought i never got to play MP i liked the SP and it must be alot better with real people in the gates. Im hopping to see EU server in June this year. Btw does anyone have an idea when EU server will be reopned?

True that. Awesome game, I'll admit it was really glitchy when it was released in 2007, but with the patches and such, it has become a much more stable and responsive game.
If people tried a demo and didnt like it, i suggest giving it another try. With the patches released, a lot of stuff flows much better. Including the GUI, everything is much easier to manage.
is multiplayer mode in this game like wow or more like in guild wars , do u pass a portal when u go to some grinding area an dont see other players except those in ur party ?

believe me guys this game is nothing like wow... well it is.. id say its like a cross of a shootemup, diablo, and wow... but it sucks... weapons and models for weapons are so boring and repetative... i got bored after like a few days cos all you do is walk down tunnels or streets killing the same old things just different names colours and sizes... i actually prefered diablo 2 and still do... *shakes head in dissaprooval*
Monsters are different, the gear is different, and the monsters do look alike. If you new why you go through a few tunnels like learn the story line than you wouldnt probably have as many issues as you do. Theres more armor and weapon customization than in most games. Ohh and this is nothing like wow, wow is a whole different genre. I will agree how its D2 and a FPS cross. and to me thats awsome.

This game is tight.. and no you do not only fight in tunnels and sewers.. A restriction is that the outdoor areas are blocked off because most of the battles are in the City, You get kill demons in hell also.. so ya.

Eh dont dude. Its fun for a weekened, then its boring. You fight in a tunnel the WHOLE game..not once do you ever get to see the outside world unless you go to the city streets for a FEW missions. Its really not htat great.

Well, i got it a couple of days ago, and at first i really didn't like it, but after i got my character up and running, i can't stop playing... Its an extremely good game in my opinion, and its perfecting MMO's. it has similarities to Diablo, but ofcourse its an entirely different game. A few bugs and glitches are around, but they constantly patch it up. For one, i really like this game, give it time and it will make its way to the top.

yea. and hellgate was made from scratch. most online games are copies of other games' engines, whereas hellgate was written from literally nothing. hence why it has had a lot of bugs in the beginning. but it's all coming together finally since patch 1.0.

Hellgate Londong is an addicting game. And sometimes you can get bored with it. And after a while, you play it again and it becomes addicting again. If you have a 8800 GForce like i do, the graphics are STUNNING. The gameplay is simple, it has the essense from D2. Overall, its a gothic 3D gaming.

I have to agree. The graphics are good, but the gameplay isn't even close to D2 LOD. Plus, no hell level yet? Levels capped at 50? It's like a three week game, if that.

The fuckin problem on this game is the environment and the monsters. Always the same places, and the monsters just change its colors => Always kill same monstetrs.

its blade master the gun they use is for shooting at the monster and it goes through there bodie and pulls the monster to him and then attack witha sword
Ok when you get Helgate london you have 2 options, pay or not. If you do pay you have the ability to make more charecters and go to other areas (im not sure if they have that setting up yet) you can still go trough the game without paying but the event may come up were you say "nice helm were did you get it?" "Oh i got it in the - - district" and youll realize that hes a subsciber (or they call it a elite player) ATM its not worth paying for it.. but someday it might.. give flagship a chance.
Hellgate doesn't look like this anymore. This video is nearly a year old and it shows its age. The actual release game is a lot more fun than shooting one gun.
this game is not easy. well it depends on how you play your class....if you wanna take it slow...just kill 1 or 2 mobs at a time...or you could be like me, aggro like 50 at a time and hope i dont die (but i do sometimes anyways :P) and since ive only beaten 3 acts in the beta, im sure that the last 2 will get progressively harder. and if this game is STILL to easy for u, try playing in elite mode...or hardcore mode, or both at the same time!

I have played the demo. I can tell you that what you said about 1 - 2 hits. At first it seems easy, but when coming to higher levels you meet not just 1 or 2 enemies - You meet whole fucking london at once. Since the game only goes to lvl 5 (there is 50 levels) i am not completly sure yet. But i really hope it's getting tougher, since low levels are ez.
The health meter is almost working the same as on Halo. You get "Stamina" and "Shield". Shield is what to be needed to break to loose health. You get shield buy some different items and such. I got 2 things i did not like about Hellgate. It contains ALOT of tunnels. Ordinary streets and such. The other one is that it seems pretty easy cause on the demo i have never died.
this game is free onlin...im prettty sure cause like its single player and multiplayer...like halo...except instead of fighting eachother online you fight enemy's like its a MMORPG

amazing, this game has a combination of the 2 games i still enjoy playing. cs source zombie server and guild wars. but now we get 2 in one!!.. which means think of which skills to use and aim straight while millions of creatures run after you. yay!

Of course it's over simplistic in the shooter aspect. It's an RPG not an all out FPS.

For the first it´s not Diablo 3 It´s a new beggening for a new game they just took some of the idéas from Diablo 2 becous it´s pretty much the same story Just another Game-play mode And ofc Ther will always be a lot of bugs in online game specaly when it´s beta and just came out. it's created by the same dev team that made Diablo...which is now Flagship Studios...after Blizzard shafted them they said "Screw you" left and formed what is now...Flagship Studios...on top of that takin' the concept ideas that were going to go into Diablo 3...

I have to agree. The graphics are good, but the gameplay isn't even close to D2 LOD. Plus, no hell level yet? Levels capped at 50? It's like a three week game, if that.
D2 you can build and build. No comparison. Bring on D3. Bring it on!!!!

Okay right now it isnt worth it, so hold onto your cash. Hellgate has a LOT of bugs to fix and has made a lot of promises that they are trying to keep up.
Also they have to basicly redo the Gaurdian/templer class because i have never seen 1 Templer, they need more ppl to want to play it, like give it a mini pet or something, just an idea..

no actually, thats not true and if it does have a few bugs, what they do is when u log on to battle net (Blizzard's online thingy) u install an update like a patch which, of course, they got rid of some bugs and u keep getting updates online until there are like, no bugs at all so if u got internet capability, its just fine if u get this game

its blade master the gun they use is for shooting at the monster and it goes through there bodie and pulls the monster to him and then attack witha sword

Ok when you get Helgate london you have 2 options, pay or not. If you do pay you have the ability to make more charecters and go to other areas (im not sure if they have that setting up yet) you can still go trough the game without paying but the event may come up were you say "nice helm were did you get it?" "Oh i got it in the - - district" and youll realize that hes a subsciber (or they call it a elite player) ATM its not worth paying for it.. but someday it might.. give flagship a chance.

this game is not easy. well it depends on how you play your class....if you wanna take it slow...just kill 1 or 2 mobs at a time...or you could be like me, aggro like 50 at a time and hope i dont die (but i do sometimes anyways :P) and since ive only beaten 3 acts in the beta, im sure that the last 2 will get progressively harder. and if this game is STILL to easy for u, try playing in elite mode...or hardcore mode, or both at the same time!

I have played the demo. I can tell you that what you said about 1 - 2 hits. At first it seems easy, but when coming to higher levels you meet not just 1 or 2 enemies - You meet whole fucking london at once. Since the game only goes to lvl 5 (there is 50 levels) i am not completly sure yet. But i really hope it's getting tougher, since low levels are ez.

The health meter is almost working the same as on Halo. You get "Stamina" and "Shield". Shield is what to be needed to break to loose health. You get shield buy some different items and such. I got 2 things i did not like about Hellgate. It contains ALOT of tunnels. Ordinary streets and such. The other one is that it seems pretty easy cause on the demo i have never died.

yeah but guild wars is complete crap, and hellgate is amazing...if u have a job at minimum wage, u can pay for this monthly in like 1.5 hrs...all the good games nowadays are going 2 have sub. fees cause they are constantly updating and adding new shit....you dont HAVE to pay 10$ a month, u just dont get any of the new patches, and get less items and places 2 go and stuff....so...basically...grow some nuts and pay the 10$

amazing, this game has a combination of the 2 games i still enjoy playing. cs source zombie server and guild wars. but now we get 2 in one!!.. which means think of which skills to use and aim straight while millions of creatures run after you. yay!
