there's one problem with this trick... they cannot pick the first card on the top

not a huge problem.. if they do pick it .. u could stick it to another card.. and make the king of diamonds (in this case) dissapear.. so you'll have a back up trick.. or if the room is dark enough or the people you are performing too aren't very inquisitve you could show the king as being blue and hope they dont see the tape :)

There is another version of this trick and it is were you put the card on the bottom and then you put their card on top and then cut the deck and put the bottom card on top of their card and then it sticks to their card it gets a better effect when you fan them out, in my opinion.

You get double stick tape at any freakin walmart you feel like going to! Geez why are people so helpless. Go and buy some! Oh you can also just use normal tape, bend it over and create your own but it doesn't work as well.

Love this trick - so easy ;) Also, if you don't have doublestick tape, get normal tape, and put it in a loop, so that it's sticky on both sides. It works just as well

well if the blue card is on the top of the deck face up then when its facedown it should b on the bottom. hide it behind a red card, let them pick a card say your putting it on the bottom then do shuffling, then say i knew u were choosing that card.

That would be the best possible scenario, because you can do two things:

1- Just flip the card and show them it's the only blue card

2- Cut the cards, and the King of Diamonds disappears, because it sticks to the back of another card.
