I have this on dvd & I'm pretty sure Steve Ellery slid off the track and when he came back on Baird tried to avoid him but dumbrel made a pretty stupid desision to try and pass him and thats what caused the crash. This video really only shows the tail end of it
... it still doesn't stop the fact that is was his fault ... drivers of his standard should know to be cautious when its raining, and if you saw that whole race you would see him taking the corner too wide - which is not cautious at all.
