  • Heya, I want to use henna now, because my hair is not nice after using chemical dye, I need a piece of advice.

    a) When I died my hair with chemical dye in the beginnig of November (now 3 months ago) will it be ok for me to use henna now? I have read that it might turn green or what...

    b) Are u using cold water? I have read that I should use hot water and that will enhance the colour.

    c) Why are u using lemon? I want to have more orangee hair (not red really). Will lemon juice help?

  • @mannonn We are no longer using lemon, but if you get our sunset glow it will come with shelly oil and this will make it oranger. You can use our henna all by itself as well, jsut order the red orange. All of our dye comes with instructions for the best results follow the manufactures instructions. Harvest Moon by Henna Hut is faster and easier to use than any brand on the market.

  • Hi there! I would like to know if there will be any root lines visible if i use henna? I have black roots growing out, while my ends were previously dyed brown. I'm thinking of opting for henna instead of another chemical dye job. Will the colour come out uneven? (lighter on ends, darker on black roots)

  • @thatfatbelly Depends on what color you do. Pure henna is gong to be red/orange. If you use black to cover it all it will be black. Our dye only goes darker. You might be able to use a dark brown as well to cover over all of it.You can use it as often as you like, so if it is not dark enough you can do it again. Remember it will continue to darken over 48 hours.

  • Your not suppose to use metal with henna...huge no no!

  • @udsweetness That is a "myth". In reality if you go to india, they will tell you that using a metal bowl will make it work better. We have used metal, wood, glass and none make a difference.

  • when using henna you are suppose to stay away from using metal. I use only glass and a wood spoon.

  • One it is a really old video, but most important we are now using private crops to harvest our henna, so it is fresher and stronger. You can use lemon on pure red orange to make it brighter. Shelly oil does the same, but it coutner acts any other color. With ours it is not needed at all.

  • WHY do u add the lemon in the video if it's bad for hair like u said?just asking? and why add the oil?

  • I love the music, who is this?

  • @sweetalyse Not sure, it came with the software to make the video.

  • My hair's naturally 3/4 darkish brown and 1/4 orange-red. I'm having a hard time working out how pure henna would look on my hair because apparently my natural color combination is unusual and no one seems to know. I really want it to be a lot redder (as in natural red-orange), because it's not summer anymore and the red only REALLY strongly stands out when the sun shines on it. Of course I'm going to buy some pure henna and do a strand test, but does anyone know what I might be able to expect?

  • @BeriiShirayuki For some reason this just came up on our board. The darker your hair the less the red will show. Natural hair dyes will not go lighter. The pure henna will give you an auburn color. Deep red will show up better.

  • I NEED ADVICE. I HAVE GREY ROOTS COMING OUT SOON AND WANT TO TRY HENNA BECAUSE I HAVE HAD A BAD REACTION TO MY DYE JOB LAST TIME WHERE MY FACE BROKE UT AND SWELLED UP, AWFUL.I'M PROBABLY ALLERGIC TO ALL CHEMICALS NOW ETC. AND I'M SCARED. I HAVE HAIR COLOR IN MY HAIR NOW. WHAT DO YOU RECOMEND? ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS.

  • @gardendaisy Any of our hair dyes will be fine. Harvest Moon hair dye is natural, we do not add ANY chemcials. So you are not alone. Hennahut . com

  • Is adding the lemon going to help the henna give the hair a lighter red color? Being that lemons can gradually lighten hair.

I have light brown hair and I want to achieve a red color

  • @ThatDamnTwig Making it lighter you can add amla or cassia obovata. Lemon is bad for your hair and you do not need it with our henna. Another way is to jsut leave it on 10 -15 minutes and rinse. Shampoo immediately and that will also lighten it.

  • I have dark brown hair Can I achieve this colour ?

  • @AnthiLovesIan More than likely not that bright if you have dark brown hair. You can use deep red or pure henna. Our pure henna will give you a auburn color and the deep red will look really nice. We have before and after pics on our website and more videos.

  • How long does the color last?

  • @Kaseeeeyx3 It is permanent.

  • i have dark brown hair will copper brown turn out ok??

  • @1illinchik It will make it darker. On grays you will see it. Natural red orange or deep red is best and you will see it in the light.

  • @hennahairdye oh cuz on the website it showed dark brown and it got lighter like a penny almost

  • @1illinchik It does not go lighter, not on any color. Each picture has a number associated with it, which one are you talking about? Picture number 1 is light sandy brown hair. You can see the roots get darler and the grays get highlighted red orange. On dark brown deep red or pure henna will be best. In other words you have brown, you just need the copper.

  • @hennahairdye ight...thanx

  • hi! i was thinking of using henna to dye my hair a brown/red color. my hair right now is a fairly dark chesnut color. which one should i use to get a color that is brown but with a little red tint?

  • @Narusayshi If yoru hair is already dark brown, you can make it darker with mahogany and get a hint of red, or you can just use deep red. Red red will not show up so well on dark colored hair. Thanks!

  • YOU HAVE to wash it 24 hours afterwards. If not it will feel dry and icky. It all depends on the person and there hair to what color it will turn. The FDA recomends washing your hair daily as well. Reds will stay red.

  • @hennahairdye

I know it will turn multiple colours but is that in the way of red and oranges

or would it be more of a greeny colour or others?

  • You obviously did not read it all. Pay attention. :) here is is again, this time slower.

Shampoo with shampoo prior and then again 24 hours after you rinse it out. If not it will oxidize and turn many colors. No conditioner "Prior" to application. Rinse conditioner is ok after.

  • @hennahairdye

That is not what I asked. Do you HAVE to use shampoo and if it does oxidise, what colours will it turn?

  • @missmissensible It will oxidize and it can turn multiple colors. So shampoo is a must.

  • i have super dark brown hair, almost black. i only want to put 1 or 2 strands of highlight so will i see a difference between those strands in my natural hair or will it not do much since my hair is so dark? i really want to know if it will actually make a difference in my hair before i try it!!

  • @cottoncandy6900 It does not go lighter. Deep red is it on dark hair. Of course it will cover gray hairs as well so you can make them match.

  • where do you get this stuff?

  • @x3jesse6x henna hut .com

  • @x3jesse6x henna hut .com

  • should this hair pack be applied till the roots of hair?

  • @bong1318 Yes! see our video on root touch ups (hennahut.com)

  • my mom was wondering where exactly can you get thia stuff? thanks

  • @x3jesse6x hennahut.com

  • can i use henna to dye my eye browses ?

  • @cocomahana Yes

  • @cocomahana Follow hte directions on henna hut under products

  • I have black hair that I previously dyed .It is naturally blond I got really bad roots so I decided to dyed them with henna because it's cruelty free! But I left it on for a hour and it barely made a difference, I thought because it was blond and I was using black it would stain ad least a little !!!

  • sorry to bother you again but does that mean it is fine if I just wash it with hot water and no shampoo or would it ruin the colouring? And does it react to any other hair products or herbs such as rosemary?

  • @missmissensible Do not mix it with other products. With so many on the market it is hard to say the reaction. Warm water is best, not bottled or distilled water. Shampoo with shampoo prior and then again 24 hours after you rinse it out. If not it will oxidize and turn many colors. No conditioner "Prior" to application. Rinse conditioner is ok after.

  • quick question. my hair is about medium brown, not very dark, but also not light. do you think i could achieve an auburn color with my hair type? if not, what do you think it would most look like? if you wouldn't mind, a link to a picture would be nice :]

  • @greetingzuzers Yes. You can use copper brown or just pure harvest moon henna. If you go to hennahut.com / testimonials we have lots of before and afters. Or every single page on Henna Hut's right hand side it says before and after. Just click that link :)

  • does it work if you don't use shampoo afterwards? I like to keep my hair as natural as possible!

  • @missmissensible Yes. However if you use anything other than pure red orange it could oxidize and turn many colors. You should initially wash your hair within 48 hours after using our products.

  • what is the lemon juice for?

  • @roseviolette pure henna ( Red orange)

  • @Millionofus Henna is one color, red orange. All of our products are 100% vegan, so we use other plants to make other colors. We do not have a blond yet :) We are working on one that people who have 100% white hair or gray hair can use. You cannot go lighter with our hair dye. But yes it is good for your hair :) thanks for your comment.

  • @intoxxxicologist Great question! If you are using "pure" henna for a red orange, fresh lemon is ok, but lemon is not all that great for your hair. Tea, coffee, paprika, etc, offer no staining abilities and only tone it down and keep it from working as well. Warm to hot tap water is ideal. Not bottled water or distilled water. Any other colors we offer just warm tap water is all we recommend. Thanks!

  • Yes for sure! You may have to do it twice, especially with burgundy. It will fix you right up. Should be called healthy hair dye.

  • is this safe on super fried bleached hair?

  • @Muahworld im no expert, but i think its actually really, really good for your hair. itll probably repair a lot of the damage. itll make it super red, too, especially on bleached hair.

  • how long does the color last???

  • @MsHimza It is permanent. Just do your roots as the come in, or if you are doing black or reds you can do your whole head to reap the conditioning benefits.

  • hello,I want to say I LIKED your video and your site is giving really great information about henna, pointing out the truth and only the truth.I read in your site that henna is a permanent color.I personally never dyed my hair before and I wanted to experiment with it but without having it permanently dyed.I was told to buy henna because it will wear off in a few weeks so my natural hair color will come back and that'll be ok.Is that even possible and if not is there another natural way to do it?

  • @hellofriki Thank you. In the majority of the people that use it , it is permanent. It will take 3-6 months to fade depending on what you are putting in your hair. If you want to try a black, you can use just indigo and it will last about 4-6 days at most. Pure henna is going to give you a red orange and it will last a very long time. Wish I could be more helpful!

  • @hennahairdye thank you so much for replying me! You've been really helpful : ) Actually my hair color is brown and first I was thinking of reddening it,but now that you explained it I guess I'll postpone that idea but blackening it with indigo seems really interesting since it will stain my hair for a week at most.Thank you again very much. And I must say I'm amazed with the products you have concerning hair care and skin treatment and I will definitely try them out : )

  • @hellofriki Your very welcome! And thank you! Just go to henna hut.com and click on indigo. If you need anything let us know. Also make sure your hair is very clean when you apply it. It will come with directions.

  • @hennahairdye thank you very much : ).I'm really excited to try it! Also I'll have my cousin try out henna since she is a chemical hair dye user all her life and I'm sure henna will definitely improve her hair and not harm her scalp.

  • @hellofriki Thanks, also keep in mind our shampoos are all natural as well. We are sold out at the time being but it should be in stock first week of March, Sign up for our news letter on Henna Hut and we will notify when it arrives. If she has scalp issues she will want to check them out. This is why we sell out of them.

  • I'll definitely check it out : ) Thanks again for helping me and replying to my questions ^_^

  • @hellofriki I was thinking, you an use Kool Aid and it might last a few days. OR some people say that have mixed it in with shampoo for a temporary color. We have not tried it though. Maybe if you applied it in the shower and rinsed it right out? However it may then still be permanent. It all depends on your hair as well.

  • some people leave it in for 12 hours

  • @queenofsheba1000 We only require one hour. Specially on any other color than red. If a company requires 12 hours, there henna is not fresh at all what so ever. Not to mention trying to get it out of your hair after it is all dried up would be a night mare. So only one hour with all of our colors.

  • @hennahairdye Yeah we now exactly where they buy it. If we thought it was any good we would be selling the same brand. So why leave it on 12 hours when you can do the same in one? To us this is much better ;) . You can leave it on 12 hours, but what a waste of time that would be.

  • Do lemon and vinegar give same effect? Thank you :)

  • @micheeroxxx NO! Follow the instructions that come with the packet. if you have questions call us!

You really only need water on all of our colors. The trick is to have super clean hair and the the dye dry natually over 1 hour. No heaters. When using a shower cap cut a hole in the top for best results.

  • 1 tsp of essential oil? seems strong? Also you say 11 shades of hair color that are henna? I thought there was only one true henna color..... so can you tell me what they are mixed with? TY in advance

  • @karonvick only for pure henna, same with the lemon. Sometimes you can use it in reds and get away with it, but it brings out the natural oil.

All of our henna have "henna: in them, or come with henna (like black), but not all are all henna. They are however all 100% natural ingredients, we do not add any chemicals. All of the ingredients are listed on our website next to the color. They take you to a link page, that then goes to Wikipedia. Thanks!

  • @hennahairdye I mean brings out the natural orange.. so only use oil and lemon if you want more orange ( natural red)

Never ever use it in any other colors

  • can you dye your eyebrows with the stuff so that it'll match your hair ?????????!!!!!!!

  • @boxrokmysox of course. Follow the directions on the site. hennahut com/eyebrow_dye

  • i am an african american with natural black hair looking to achieve a medium brown'ish color....can i achieve that with henna?

  • @mosslady0616 You cannot go lighter. You can add a bronze color or brass color if you use pure henna. Deep red is also a really hot color with dark hair. We are sold out, but will have more next week. Thank you.

  • i have natural black hair and would like a like a brown'ish color....can i achieve that with henna? also from where can i purchase henna?

  • @mosslady0616 You would need to get the brown. It has plant indigo and henna mixed together. This will give you brown. To see all of our colors go to hennahut.com and click on products/hair_dye. Only trust Harvest Moon hair dye® for freshness.

  • @hennahairdye - thanks, i'm on the website now. i will start with the brown and see what happens. btw, is there a different process for african american hair?

  • @mosslady0616 Our hair dye does not discriminate ;) It has to do with protein and pores. The lighter the color of the hair the more of that color you buy you will see. The darker the hair the lighter you will see it.

See our videos on henna hut .com and before and after pics :)

  • could i use it for highlights(or lowlights i should say)?

  • @TheShazamwow You can yes. Any of the colors, but remember if you have really dark hair, you might not see it so much unless you are in the sun.

  • why do you have to use fresh lemons instead of concentrate? and what exactly do you mean by regular henna? i have the mehandi one in brown but the color chart says it'll turn my hair a deep brown with red highlights.

  • @CrystallyzeD Conentrate flat out will not work as well and has lots of perservitives. To me it does not even taste like lemons. if you do our pure red you do not even have to use lemons, good ol tap water works well.

Also concentrated lemon juice jsut does not have fresh citric acid, it is toned down.

  • @hennahairdye oh okay thank you so much :)

  • Oh i love the doggie with the shower cap on. He is adorable. Her hair is GORGEOUS. i bet it looks beautiful in the sunlight. My hair is black but in the sunlight it is so pretty. i got a lot of compliments on it. I LOVE henna. I am growning my hair out. and henna is really helping it

  • @WonderWomanFan4life Thanks! That is Buddy, he is a wonderful dog :) Soon I will upload some of his cool tricks he does. Henna is a super awesome conditioner and Henna Huts Harvest Moon® is guaranteed super fresh every time or your money back. The more you use it the less split ends you will have and the longer your hair will grow.

  • I saw that you can use henna to die you hair a true or a dark red. Thing is my hair is naturally dark brown/black and when I use chemical dye I have to bleach it blonde or the red is just brown, do you think it'll apply to using Henna dye too, I have to bleach it 1st?

  • @Grievousig101 If you have black hair I would use "red" and you will see it but only in the sun. The more you sue it the more red it will be. I would use it for the conditioning effects at least.

  • @Grievousig101 i read that it will make you have more of a dark auburn tone with redish highlights in the sun.

  • @TheShazamwow It all depends on the color you use and the hair you start with. Pure henna will give you some auburn (auburn is orange/brown) highlights. You really have to play with the colors. You can mix any of the colors we have.

  • @JOHNNYWADTON DOH! All henna will give you a "red orange". That is why we have 11 colors, especially on white hair! You need to go to Henna Hut.com and then go to the dark brown section under natural hair dye. Dark Brown is 90% Indigo 10% Henna and would give her dark brown. but for goodness sake follow the directions.

  • Great tut! been using henna for about two years and the color has NEVER faded. I only have to dye my roots/head about once every two months! If you want red hair and have young follicles, use henna!!!! it will last forever.

  • Hi,

Great video! very informative.. I only recently became concerned because my mom dyes her hair every 2 weeks or so with chemical hair dyes and now I want to switch to a safe and natural alternative. Her natural hair now is ALL GRAY cause of her age. Is there a way of dying it brown-red with only henna? if so, what does she have to do in order to let the henna dye her hair over her already chemically-dyed hair? Thanks!

  • @JOHNNYWADTON Thank you so much! Every 2 weeks is chemical over load! I would start with just doing the roots as they come in and then eventually the whole head. She can use mahogany or light brown. Also all of our colors are mixable :) You are very smart, I can tell you some bad stories of people that use chemicals every two weeks.

  • @hennahairdye Thank you very much for the prompt reply, my mother was told by salon the hair stylist that Henna will only make her gray roots turn BLONDE. Is that true?

  • @JOHNNYWADTON Sorry youtube was down and would not let me reply..

No that is not true. That stylist is uneducated about henna. See our before and after pics on Henna Hut .com Thanks!

  • I've been thinking about using henna on my hair that has been chemically treated. Some people say that it's better for my hair and other people say that it will distroy my hair. Could you please tell me the truth about this?

  • @ladyjung1 I would never waste my time all day selling a product that was bad for you. It is absolutely healthy hair dye. Chemical hair dye = chemicals they develop film with. Many salons are just uneducated and now the newer schools are teaching different. Also what color are you doing now?

  • Great video! I am 13, have medium brown hair, not especially dark, and want to dye my hair with henna, preferably bright red. What color would you suggest for me and what are some selling points to convince my mom to let me dye it?

  • @freakstyle4 100% chemical free, good for you and the environment. Thank you! Yes you can of course. It is very safe, but still always do a strand test. If you use red it will look red highlighted, if you sue deep red it will look kind of red/burgundy. Everyones hair is different. look at before and after on our website. I think we are sold out of deep red and red right now :( We should have more in a week or so. And if you like have your mom call us! I am ext 222.

    Good luck!

    Rod

  • I have medium brown hair, not especially dark. I am 13 and trying to get my mom to let me dye my hair with henna, a bright red. What are some things that I could say to her to convince her and what shade would you suggest for the color I want?

  • @freakstyle4 Always listen to mum. Why would you want to dye your hair so young? Your hair is to dark for ours to turn it bright red. That would be a lighter shade and it does not go lighter.

  • Can 14 year ols use it? Since u said "Cover the gray the natrual way" i just want red hair but i dont wan to use the chemical-y hair dye...

  • @diaXdiastole Yes absolutely! Not just for people with gray hair. Very smart!

  • I want my hair to be as dark as possible and preferably with as little red undertone as possible. How do I achieve that with henna? Do I leave it on longer or make my dye more concentrated? Any tips for this? Thanks in advance

  • @potaterr I would use one of Harvest Moons other colors. Henna will give you red.

brown will give you brown etc.. we have 11 all natural colors and henna is an ingredient in ll of them but not the main ingredient in a lot of them. Mahogany is the darkest we have next to black. Hope that helped :) . Learn more at henna hut .com

  • Also I would like to know, does this cover gray hair?( my mother wants to know) She has used henna before from other companies, and it didn't grab onto her hair to change the color, my mother's hair is naturally red, but she would like to make it a richer color.

  • @maleficentdiva This is the biggest question we get asked and it is the biggest reason it is used :) Our motto is "cover the gray the natural way" .

80% of the henna on the market is not fresh. This is why you see most say to let the henna set out over night after you mix it. If it is very fresh then you mix it with just water, let it sit 5 minutes and apply. Make sure the hair is super clean before applying and leave on for an hour. No shampoo for 24-48 hours.

  • @hennahairdye Also see our before and after pics on hennahut.com. The very last one is a lady who use to be 100% gray/white. Harvest Moon Henna® made her look 12 years younger.

  • ok I think I understand what you were saying, but let me make sure. OK so you are saying that before I would use YOUR brand of henna, I need to lighten my hair? is that right? I am only asking because on this video you didn't say anything about that, you are just basically putting it on natural hair, The reason I am asking is because I don't want to buy your henna and not have it work for me, I don't want to waste my money on something that doesn't work. :)

  • @maleficentdiva No. I am saying Henna cannot go lighter. If you lighten your hair that is up to you. However the darker your hair the less you sill see the natural henna. The lighter your hair the more you will see the henna, ours or anyone elses.

Some people lighten their hair because they want it light to do different colors.

If you start with blond and do henna you will get a natural red head color. If you start with brown you will have auburn. black = no color.

  • @hennahairdye Also keep in mind we have 11 colors. So if you are dark colored and you want some red tint, do red or deep red. You can mix all of colors. I just can't help you go lighter. It is chemical free so it does not have as many options. Most people that use our natural hair dye, want the same color. Hope that helps! have a great evening (or morning wherever you are) . tons more info on hennahut.com

  • @maleficentdiva Also if you use chemicals you are defeating the purpose, so try and lighten it naturally. Most of our customers come to us after they had a bad experience with chemical hair dye. The lucky ones switch prior. Good luck!

  • @maleficentdiva Yes, or the sun. Lemon and the sun will do wonders. Natural hair dyes or hennas regardless of who you use, will only go darker or equal to, not lighter. Only chemicals or sun can do that.

Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world. Some people are liars. Some are assholes. Luckily the good ones over do the bad ones. As far as henna there is a lot of bad henna out there. We strive to have the best. Just remember it works different on everyone and on 97% of the people.

  • I have blonde hair and want to go brown with henna without the red. How do I do that? :o)

  • @anniemarie02 Use Harvest Moon brown. It is 100% natural no chemicals. It is a mix of henna and indigo and other natural ingredients. DO a strand test first!

It might turn a shade of green or red at first, this is natural, however when you wake up in the morning it will be brown. It can take up to 48 hours, but usually only takes 12 and then 48 to get to final color.

  • hi, if I like to have a copper color look, which color you recommend me to buy and how long I should after applying?? i do also have some grey hair, works for gray hair too??

  • @karinamarbal Yes works wonderful on gray hair. If you use copper brown then you will get a copper color and the gray will be highlighted red. See the before and after pictures on hennahut.com. The very first one is using copper brown (also called copper top) If you are very dark color you might not see it as much.

  • how long we hve tu keep after applying ?

  • @chocolatygirl1 as often as you like. if it is a dark color it will get darker and darker so just do root touch ups if it is a dark color. pure henna once a month is good. Our dyes are permanent and will last until your roots grow out.

  • Gorgeous color! I'm going to try to persuade a toxic hair dye addicted friend of mine to switch to henna. Thanks for the video.

  • @einzigal Your welcome! Just make sure you tell her "Harvest Moon"® Henna :)

  • i bought mine from a shop ready made and the owner said he had mixed coffee, tea and lemon in it. i have dark brown hair. does that work?

  • @mymaisilkwood Nope. Myth Myth Myth. If coffee or Tea worked as a stain we would have used it as hair dye long ago. Not to mention we would have to whiten teeth once a week. Lemon is fine , but not needed with Our henna as ours is super fresh and sealed to stay that way. So do not fall for the "secret" summer recipes. All just ways to get your money. Our henna does not even need to sit out over night. 10 minutes and it is ready to go. Hope that helps! visit Henna Hut for more info.

  • im asking for my mom, what color do you get with this mix? and how would you get red?

  • @xmn0 You just need to go to henna hut and look at all of the colors. Natural red head is pure henna, red red is henna and clays, browns are henna and indigo (from plant) all 100% natural. you can click the link below the video. or go to hennahut.com. Thanks!

  • @xmn0 Meaning just order the red you want. If your mom has gray or white hair it will be red red. Same with light colored hair. See the before and after pics on henna hut as well.

  • I don't think you're supposed to use a lemon but I did get the essential oil this time bc my hair was kinda dry when I put it on last time.

  • @esm82ify You can. You can also use just about any oil you like. Odorless or Shelly oil is best. Moroccan oil is also nice. Just be sparing! Lemon is not required, but really pulls out reds.

  • i heard you can also add an egg in there, it helps with making the hair even stronger. thanks for all vids, very instructional.

  • @punkrockprinjess awww thank you, hmmm never tried an egg. Let us know if you do try it.

  • @hennahairdye I did, its amazing. i suggest everyone should try it too.

  • I heard you could use apple cider vinegar instead of lemon, well does that work?

  • @Boudiga Our henna you do not need lemon at all. If your pores are to small to bind to the henna or you have no protein in your hair, then use some vinegar with it.

Some people are not dyeable even with chemicals. Always wash hair first. Always follow manufacture directions. Harvest Moon you just add water. Hope that helps :)

P.S a lot of the time it is just old henna that is the problem. Fresh is key and where it comes from.

  • THANK YOU! It was sooo hard to find a video that it explained this as well as you have!

  • @Boudiga You are so very welcome :)

  • i usw henna! great video but you should really put that it is natural

  • @weirdemoperson Yes it is 100% all natural! Thank you will do!

  • @hennahairdye i have used hina in my hair and it looks gorjus red haha and it makes my hair shiny i am not going to use chimicals any more

  • yeah...mine came out same color from Black hair...and using lemons...nice vid

  • @watchfuleye2008 Thank you

  • so i shouldnt use lemon unless i want my hair to be red? if i dont use lemons what color will my hair be?

  • @joyariffic Use Lemon to bring out reds. If you do not use lemon it will be the color that you bought plus what color your hair is. Remember you cannot go lighter. leanr more at Henna Hut, Thanks!

  • What color did you use in this video?

  • @PIXIE2201 Here you are .. We used Copper top also called copper brown...

  • What color did you use in this video?

  • very pretty! And I like the fact that a man was doing it for some reason...idk lol

  • @huney1023 :) that would be my husbands sexy arm :) Thank you, Thank you!

  • wood spoon!

  • @lunadore1 Myth.... Wood , metal, plastic, it does not matter. In India they prefer metal bowls as they think it will make the henna redder.

  • Sweet. Love your product!

  • @liftgates Thank you Thank you!

  • @liftgates Isnt it nice, no grading, no mixing, no tea, no coffee, just add water and mix! With a spoon or a cake mixer , super simple, super fast and super effective! And Harvest Moon Hair Dye is permanent. Thank you again for your feed back.

  • @Crnobog92 Your welcome. You can also use pure henna and that will give you a orange tent

  • @Crnobog92 I would use red red. It will show up red in the sun and you will see highlights, and light areas will show red more. Have to play with it and see what you will get. Red on dark will make a very dark red.

  • my only concern with this is the lemon. i want reddish highlights but will the lemon juice dry my hair out. can i add olive oil to counteract the dryness and still get the same results.

  • You do not have to use the lemon. Our all natural hair dye is super fresh. I do recommend essential oil (shelly oil). Just mix it in with the henna. Henna alone will make your hair softer shinier and rid split ends.

  • i have some blond highlight, and dont know what color i should choose caca noir or caca brun!! i want those blond color to go away while having brown hair color, ohh my hair is really black! what do u think? please reply, ur opinion is much appreciate

  • My hair color is between a light ash brown and auburn brown, in the sun it is sort of orange because I have natural reddish highlights. I would like to know how to get very red results from henna dyeing, because I really don't want to use a kind of permanent dye. I see lemon and essential oils can help with that, anything else? Your opinion will be much appreciated. :)

  • do essential oil realy need to add because i need broun hair colour do i need to put any oil for broun hair colour

  • @igloorock no, you do not need the essential oil. It is for reds..

  • The color used in the video is Copper Top. Once you do all of your hair do root touch up to maintain the same color. So when you order order 2 packets. One to do your hair with now and one for root touch ups.

  • well i wanted licht brown or somthing

and i already dye my hair whit brown henna

but i can see any difference

    But thanks

  • you cannot go "lighter" with henna. Only darker or same. If you have dark brown hair and have gray, then use dark brown and it will make all of your hair dark brown. Remember always do a strand test.

  • hey i have very dark bronw hair almost black

can i dye my hair whit henna to brown

  • If you have dark brown or black and you have gray/white, then you will need to order dark brown. It will cover the gray. Henna Hut has plenty of dark brown in stock. Thank you

  • @na0mi0 That is correct , you cannot go lighter. If you are black then you can't go light brown with natural hair dye. Thank you

  • hey i have very dark brown hair almost black

  • @na0mi0 Sorry Missed this one. YOU can dye your hair dark brown. You can see all of our colors at Henna Hut. Remember you can only go darker or equal to. Not lighter
