I drank the kool-aid long ago. But I swear, every day, he impresses just a little more. He knows a lot and he knows what he doesn't know and finds people who do. We gotta get this guy elected President!!

That's one of the main reasons I eventually voted for Barack Obama via absentee ballot. After eight years of a president who seems to take pride in his ignorance, its so refreshing to see someone who actually values science as a method of thinking and solving problems.

I know he will disappoint me as a conservative, but on science he really gets it.

I know there'll be times that I'll be disappointed, as a liberal type person.

But overall, in a few years, I suspect that both of us will be able to look back on this election (and, yeah, I'm still hoping for the good guys to win) and be pleased that Obama won.
