I'm pretty sure I had a game years ago called My Aquarium. Came free with either a mobo or graphics card. Looked pretty similar to this. Pretty boring to play. (also came with another game demo that was similar to age of empires, except it was more cartoony ans set in the east, so you planted rice fields and everything was oriental looking. does anyone know what this game is called? i lost it...)

My brother and sister used up the Wii points I bought for this, which I was very angry about, seeing as it looked very boring, they managed to find a very creative way to have fun with it, though the fun only lasted for about 3 days, then they got bored with it, and completely forgot it was there.

This is without a doubt one of the most boring experiences I have ever had. I have aquariums so I decided to check this out, but it was such a snooze I would never recommend it. Great review, and I loved the dancing fish!

@GeoCaptainNintendo This is how I used the pokemon ranch game when it came out. Expensive screensaver. Then I didn't play the wii until late 2010 and gave it to my mom along with Zumba and wii fit. She's gotten more out of the system than I ever did.

I forgot to mention, you've also got a few misconceptions about the game. The fish are unlocked over time. This is stated in the manual, which I realize is a pain to get to since you have to go through the shop channel to get to it, but that's a nuisance for all Wiiware. Also, the fish will dance any time you tap so long as you take care of them. If you set a special date, they'll all do a much more elaborate dance upon loading the game, and again if you select the option from the main screen.

I actually got this just to use it as a screensaver. My wife likes to have it on when she takes naps. I should point out that the Wii isn't capable of running titles simultaneously with the System Menu. The technical limitations of the software impose a restriction in that the menu loads as an independent title and it's not possible to run two at the same time. This wouldn't be difficult to fix, but Nintendo doesn't seem to have a full understanding of their own software, which is unfortunate.

...This "game" was orignally a screensaver sold for the pc i see the exact same imagery same menus EXCEPT on the pc version you start off with all fish unlocked (50) plus DLF $10.00 for pc version, but it can make a cool desktop or screensaver... if your into fish...
