  • the only reason for the huge explosion with the puff of black smoke was because both of the front tires exploded at once

  • hahaha.those peolpe r fucking stuiped.somthing would shoot out and nail that guy who was taking the pic.

  • just curious to know how long it took the fire department to get there? probably a while because they had to get through all that traffic

  • imagine if a fuel truck exploded

  • ghostrider trucker fo sho

  • TRUST ME IF I WOULDA SEEN THIS N I WAS IN MI CAR, I WUD HAVE GOT A TICKET BC I WOULDA BEEN GOIN OVER N BEYOND THE SPEED LIMIT

  • Wow this video iz rly pissing me off cuz I am I firefighter and we r taught that if a vehicle iz on fire DO NOT stand in front of the bumper b/c when and if the pistons in the bumper heats up enough it can explode and fly a good distance and if it did explode especially on a tractor trailer it can reach the car that this video wuz taken from.......... God some ppl are so fuckin stupid sometimes

  • Stupid idiots taking advantage of someone else's misery. Hope they breakdown or their vehicle catches on fire and no one stops to help out except take pictures!! IDIOTS!!!

  • @yashti1979 what are they going to do? NOTHING, unless someone is carrying 100 gallons of water in their trunk with a gigantic pump and hose.

  • How the heck did the truck catch on FIRE?????

  • how many times does that cop have to tell these assholes to get back...fucking idiots.

  • AIR TANKS Bursting By the look of it or TIRES maybe a bleve or two Title Misleading

  • what the hell is with the idiots taking pictures?? you would think that when you see explosions...you would back off

  • It would have made it harder for our truck to get to the fire

  • it was all fine until the ass hole pulled up behind the camera man in the end...it was cool though when both tires blew at once...

  • with explosions like that, noone should have been anyware near this rig

  • Damm

  • shits nuts

  • I hope the bumper explodes and breaks those Fags taking pictures

  • Very common

  • lol it told the police to back off

  • They're not as close as it seems; the video camera is zoomed out compressing the picture. Cool that the cop doesn't even flinch when the tires pop off.

  • 2:30

  • lol the truck told the police man to close

  • RED NECKS R SO FUCKING STUPID...DID HIM & HIS WIFE REALLY JUST STAND THAT CLOSE TO TAKE PICTURES......N THEN WALK TOWARDS THE TRAFFIC AND POLICE FOR MORE PICS.....SMFH.....MAN PEOPLE R FUCKIN UP

  • (1:12)That stupid ass really gana get that close to take pictures JUST USE THE ZOOM...

  • 0:18 Just blowing tyres

  • they dount do anything about it people dount kair any more

  • Too bad semi bumpers dont blow off like some cars. 2 things i hate when at a fire scene. 1. Traffic not stopped or rerouted 2. People trying to get as close as they can to watch or take pictures.

  • Compressed gasses and the tires popping are the explosions. It ain't the fuel, like in the movies.

  • What started this fire? Anyones knows?

  • who stands at the fire five feet away and takes pictures

  • I guess those other guys never heard of zoom lenses

  • Sir im gonna have to put you out of service, can i get your log book please, DO NOT GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE

  • Wos the moron that is standing so close to the burning truck

  • thats alot of smoke

  • Sir you got flat tire should i put the spare one

  • wow, nice zoom

  • what a moron taking pictures that close

  • don't mind us we are just taking pictures from 5 feet way....

  • They closed down the two right lanes

  • Where? Where is the fire trucks?

    block by traffic....

  • @WaiWu thats america :P

  • How hard was I wishing for just one more tyre to explode while those morons were taking their pathetic pictures. Would I have laughed if they had got their asses toasted. you bet your sweet life.

  • at 0:19 was that the tyres exploding???

  • @shawingz369 yup...see the truck shake and drop? thats what that was...

  • Stupid fools standing too close to a possible explosion that can reach hundreds of yards.

  • Damn dude I hope he had insurance.

  • Quick get a picture its a burning truck, you will Never see that again!

  • Love the amateurs with their cameras having to step right up to the flames, haha. One tire explosion and some molten rubber would have ended their day.

  • is the truck for sale??

  • @burkey426 yes my man, it is! i am previous owner of truck and can mail it to you for US $59.99! contact me thru my channel. dont delay!

  • how come that there is still traffic passing by the scene? are the officials there mad or something?

  • oh the tires just blew out

  • BTW that photographer is standing in the worse possible place, i don't think he could find a worse place to stand if he tried, idiot.

  • i love all the idiots walking around taking pics....

  • @mrtransient Well 128 is filled with idiots too! WORST ROAD EVER

  • Not second guessing anyone...but the first thing I do in a situation like this is to close down the road. It just makes things safer all around.

  • explosions are bad ass

  • It's like the 4th of July on the highway O_O

  • 0:13 high rider ........... 0:20 low rider

  • 0:13 high rider ...........

  • hmh okey, the second was okey, but the biggest explode comes from the tires so..yeah, but it was cool :)

  • NOT TO MENTION 150 Gallons of diesel 10 gallons of motor oil 5 Gallons + Hydraulic oil this is a fuel air bomb waiting to go off remember yeah stupid cops!

  • Yeah I gotta say. The camera man shooting this is the smartest one on the scene.

  • @aubreyholman shows how much you know... the most dangerous spot at a car fire besides inside is in front of the car. all the little hydraulics for the lights and engine can blow out through the front of the car when they heat up enough. Thats why you never see firemen approach from the front

  • the tires are disinigrated it might be the fuel loge

  • city people with no common sence

  • 1:40 - "let's gather around the huge truck fire that's exploding!" "ok!"

    1:49 - picks up a rock for a souvenir

    1:55 - "eh ok let's watch now."

  • I remember this fire... If this happend in N.H 5 years ago it would still be burning.

  • What a stupid cop.. way to show that you're a hardass by standing 20 feet away from a truck that could go off like a roman candle any minute. The county is proud of you.

  • "can you hear me now ?' lol look at the cop @ 0:03 & 0:17 ~0:19 he is unfased by the explosions &"shock wave, just stands there and chats on the radio :P

  • they didnt shut down the highway for that ? stupid !!!!

  • @truepass2679 Hahah those are city cops, apparently waltham, if they shut down the highway instead of MSP theyd be pissed when they eventually reached the scene, and if you close it down FD and more PD could be stuck in traffic depending on where the on/off ramps are.

  • @truepass2679 why should they?? the left lanes *should* be safe enough I mean I guess it depends how big the explosion could be for the diesel tanks..

  • @truepass2679 no need when the trucks in the break down lane its fine

  • @truepass2679 yup. thats MA for ya. they live up to their nickname; Massholes.

  • all that was the tires poping from the heat.

  • Videos like this show irony at its finest, the police arrive and divert traffic away from the burning vehicle causing a bottleneck, traffic backs up, delaying our arrival, creating more of a danger because if we dont get to it soon - well anyone ever see 100 gallons of diesel get hot enough to explode?

  • I think that was a tire popping not an explosion. FYI not everyone in America's overweight. Guessing you've never lived there, ay?

  • lol the truck looks like optimus prime

  • the best part is... it was on the shoulder. Which is a good indication the driver realized there was a problem, and hopefully got out unhurt.

  • 0:20 was the tires

  • why are people driving by as that thing is exploding. HAve people gotten that stupid

  • wow nice zoom!

  • Wow....watching those three morons walking up on a burning truck to take PICTURES, really does help you to understand how and why so many stupid people die every day. I know I'd risk my life for something as trivial and unimportant as that........ incredible.

  • @dazedandconfusednow

LOL. The cameraman taking this vid is obviously the smarter one. When he or she zooms out at 1:21, you can see they are at least 500 feet away, if not more.

  • well he got a day off , i wish my work place gets on fire to so i can get a day off

  • i had a pontiac sunfire that i got in a headon collision with a ford f350 with and when the car caught on fire thats about what it looked like

  • wow.. nice cam.. spaceship Zwummm xD

  • thats one hot truk

  • ya woulda thort they at least woulda shut down another lane look how far that flame and shit shot out when that tire went bang

  • holy crap

  • The fire department was stuck in traffic on Tottenpond Road @ route 128. The two photographers are peter lobo of the waltham fire department and some one from the daily news tribune.

  • What a bunch of morons walking up to see ,to bad they didn' get blown up.asswipes.

  • Seems to me a fire of this magnitude ,traffic should have been stopped, along time ago.....

  • @MrTillerman55 yeah i know right the cops are just like oh its just a truck with highly dangerous gasoline in it what could happen

  • @the731272 if thats a 18 wheeler its desiel and its not that dangerous yes it burn but its not explosive(under the right conditions yes but by the looks of it the conditions wern't )

  • @protectoroffaith Holy shit, this cant be, someone who knows what they are talking about. Simply amazing.

  • @MrTillerman55 i agree

  • Some folk are so dumb, hmm, let's take a close look at a burning truck (with no idea what is burning or yet to engnite).

  • 1:10 jackasses wishing they woulda ever seen something this cool in there pathetic lives

  • woahh

  • People are idiots! I cant believe the cops let traffic drive by it!

  • ...All those people rubber-necking

  • i fucking hate that..LOL

  • WTF are the people doing starting at 1:12 taking pictures IN FRONT OF the burning truck?!?! With that kind of heat release rate they are lucky as hell those shocks behind the steel bumper plate didn't blow, because if they did that bumper would have taken off with enough force to rip their legs off! It's happened before.

Note to anybody who reads this: NEVER stand in front or behind the bumper in a vehicle fire! Shock pistons DO indeed explode when they are exposed to enough heat over time

  • Trucks don't have impact absorbing shocks but your right in most cases.

  • I wonder just how many pounds of cancer causing carcinogens were released into the air that day.

  • And, I wonder how may people looking at this video just look at it cause they think fire's "cool"..

You made a great point >->

Anyone watching this cause they like fire, need to realize, what if someone was hurt?

    Jesus christ -.-

  • at me friend matt in the carevan

  • Fire Dept should have been there already.

I remember this happend. what a freak'n mess. the highway had this huge black smudge and the had to repave that area on 128.. what a mess!

  • was this on RT 128 in MASS

  • Yes, near the Weston Hotel in Waltham.

  • @DANGARLAND where's waltham and how far is it from boston?

  • wish it would explode when the people were taking pictures to scare the hell out of them

  • thats so scary. There was so much smoke! I would of been so scared to of been on the nearest side of the road to the lorry

  • see the folks that walk out from the sidelines to take photos? We in the fire service refer to them as the "Oh-Oh Squad!

  • pretty cool when the tires blew

  • why didn't they stop all traffic so fire crew could get there?

  • the whole truck could have exploded and killed the people standing in front of it and the road should have been closed

  • the WHOLE truck wouldnt have exploded, its only the tires that blow out.

  • we didn't start the fire , it was always burning since the world was turning :)

  • What about the driver? Did he survived? Did he manage to get out of the truck in time?

  • Beautiful when both front tires blow up at the same time in 0:17

  • holy cow my dad use to b a fire fighter, that is a BIG fire.

  • I'm suprised they didn't shut the highway down.

  • Exactly, don't they know what safety precautions are?? cars are driving by like nothing is wrong.

  • That was a brave photohrapher!

  • wicked

  • woah...is right one big fire
