its good what you saying but you did make your video pretty crap and i have coral in a tank and i started with one and now it is spread all over my 600 liter tank so im not killing it i am actually breeding it.
Ey i'm a diver, and in the reef aquarium hobby. I buy as many aquacultured and maricultured fish and corals as possible and if not possible, only buy from companies that collect using sustainable practices. Done sustainably, really doesnt leave a mark. Also I never buy things that have a high death rate.
I disagree, I think corals are better off in tanks where maintainance is perfect than in the ocean which is slowly being polluted and temperature changes are killing the corals.
I agree plus no stupid tourist is gonna break it off or play with a puffer like that at least they have a fighting chance till we can get the ocean back to how it was and coral's can reproduce and be like they were before all the temp. changes and pollution. The hobby can keep them alive and reproduce them till we can correct the ocean's problem's and repopulate the Reef's of the world
@1legions i think we should try and preserve it and not touch it out in the wild, but at the same time we can help the survival of coral, by propogating it in our reef tanks.
I have been Successfully Cultivating Florida ricordea, Captive raised of course. Though really thats a coralimorph.
I also have a captive raised capnella which grows quite well. I got it from Another Aquarist that had its parent colony, and in turn he got his from yet another captive raised specimen.
Absolutely beautifully done & to the point. Need to spread the film all over the world & educate everyone about the delicate nature of all coral creatures. Folks might not realize coral is a living creature & not just a rock sitting in water. I hope millions view the new film produced on Bonaire.
We make every effort to educate all re: the "do's and dont's" in the ocean waters.

The biggest threat to coral reefs is not divers but GLOBAL WARMING.
