Em, dude, people was buying Black Bird only because of sexy case. Insides are crapy. Processor, video cards, motherboard ect. Only the fucking case! By the way Thermaltake Armor case is really cool and heavy!
100% Correct. The black bird sucks and your system is way cooler than that hp POS. My system is similar the only difference is I have a evga 750i ftw coolmax 750w msi gtx 260 oc ver.4 win 7 wdc blue 250gb 7200rpm raid 0 on Sil3132 pcie x1 and cooler master haf full atx and i don't have that kick ass paint job.
it makes a racket, the other is great for audio and video recording and editing... do you really sit there and listen to that all the time? The power saving features are sensible on the FBs, no sense in drawing crazy power constantly
Yeah half the time you save a ton of money building it yourself. Last summer I decided I wanted to build one, and when I got all my parts in front of me, I put it all together... it was much easier than I thought it was, and it only put me back about $870.
Oh yeah me too! I lucky buy it when it first come out. first come out come with component input, 3ms, and pip! It stop make that way, new one only come with hdmi, dvi, and vga that all. Whew!!
And you just looked at it you didnt even say what components were in it. Wow i laugh for all we know you could have borrowed those games from someone and the thing could be a peice of sh*t
o.O Alrighty. Well, maybe the "ticking" noise is news to you then... However, it comes across quite clearly on the vid.
I was merely asking 'cause the Aquagate *looks* quite good for an "all-in-one". However, I hoped to establish whether the persistent ticking was from it or from some other component in your rig; the drives, for example -- Raptors not renowned for their quietness, etc. Just wished to know.
Well I belive it from raptor x, it pretty loud. Can be radiator fan, I set aquagate max fan run 100%. I don't use auto, so if use auto then might reduced noise. Try check my other old vid, it dont have aquagate max that time so you can try compare sound it.
Many thanks, man. Nice rig. Building one to similar specs myself for use in our living room, hence the possibly obscure questions re: noise; trying to build a quiet one. :D
of some things. the hp black bird has really nice specs i mean sure u can just go out and buy parts but with hp u get customer service thats good u get mult year warrents but i like building my own cause u get just what u want
Well, you can build nice specs like hp. I never need customer servies and warranty. Hardware already have warranty it self anyway. Unless you're noob for pc then guess you need customer services. But I'm tell you very easy build on your own pc! Just like you hook up ikea furniture!
Ati Crossfire is way better

What core voltage is your Q6600 at? Mine is clocked to 3.33ghz @ 1.36V and I'm wondering whether or not that's a decent voltage for my clock.
oscarstegland 3 years ago
Really , the black bird scam your money.
Build a SLI system yourself rather then buying a pre build computer that cost a bank.
The stupid case of black bird is much higher then CM Cosmos!

It not around store, I make it my self. With art paints..
HalovsCrysis 3 years ago
True. Those PC manufacturers rip you off and give you less reliable components. Building your own is the way to go.

lol when you squashed to computer. I have some home made videos with my home made SLi computer if you wanna look?

Hi, quick question -- what the heck is that annoying whirring/ticking noise? Is it your fans? Is it the pump in the Aquagate Max?
Cheers.
