So so so so so so so so so overrated... No offense, but It's just incredible how this amateur and all in all mediocre band got the attention of so many. Hype, hype, hype and media... I used to like the Libertines - but let's face it... What kind of a vocalist Doherty is anyway??? My God... BTW: I love some of their work but as an ensemble it's average at most (and amateur - very much)

Who cares?They never pretented otherwise, did they?Sure Peter is no Justin Timberlake singing wise,but he doesn't need to anyway.His voice suits perfectly to the songs.They got the attention,because a lot of people saw something special in them,not perticually only in their music but in their personalities.Thats why a lot of people were drawn into them.Thats why I am anyway.Well or maybe I just like amateur bands ;)

I don't agree at all that "Carl is being a cunt" they have to ease into it. If they rush to quickly it might not be as special and the band themselves might not be ready. You've got to remember it's been a lot time since the four of them have played together. if it happens then fantastic, The Libertines are one of my all time favourite bands I just hope that their hearts and heads go into it before they even think about getting together once again.
