Mendis form has dipped because batsmen are starting to work out his variations easily. Mainly thanks to the media that records everything in slowmotion and then gives it to the batsmen.

However Mendis will need to work hard in the nets to keep the batsmen guessing. I remember nasser hussain say he needs to work more on flight and pace variation as he cant rely on turn like Murali or Warne. I guess Mendis will do well to watch Anil Kumble
