@yeon723 Well if you don't already know, MJ and Diana Ross had a secret affair in the early 1980s. The best estimated time frame is 1980-1985. MJ even said he wanted to marry her in a 1982 Ebony Magazine Interview. Well in late 1985, Diana married a man named Arne Ness, and when MJ found out he became very upset about it. You can see his intial coldness towards her at the '86 AMAs. MJ eventually got over it but obviously the pain was still there and it's shown in this song and Dirty Diana IMO.
