  • Beautiful, melodic song..............with strong traces of the California Mellow Mafia :)

  • One of my all time favorites but this version is missing the last verse or bridge .. not sure what you call it .. the part that says "I say that a mans a fool, if he don't know how to cry, cuz when I get down I sure get down but when I'm up I know how to fly"

  • @geobakers . Thats very interesting that my be the version on the album ,but this copy was from the single ( 7inch ) releasted in Australia mid 1970s .I my have to hunt around for a copy of the album in a second hand record store . Thanks for info ,CHEERS GARY (malabu2)

  • this whole album was great!when i was a teenager this came out and my very conservative father loved it until he found out who it was.

  • Thanks,.......thanks a lot

  • I also heard this in the 70's but never forgot it, very cool to have found it

  • Yes sure is one great song and as yahowa57 said it is super obscure . I first uploaded it on to youtube sept 2008 but it was taken off because of copy rights.' then almost a year later it was back on , so i'am rapted that others can here it . some no doubt for the first time .

  • Very cool, I heard this ONCE back in the mid 70's, haven't heard it since.

  • Great , great, great, I know where Boz Scaggs got his riff,....it's all good

  • Thanks for this post. I've had this on vinyl for some time. Maybe the best song on the album, and super obscure. Don't know why it didn't chart here in the States.Great photos, BTW!
