@Fiora3431 I agree, it one has better and smoother transition...only because there are more people who worked on creating this opening, while the pokemon special version was probably only a small group of private artists and animators.

YU-KI! I remember her singing "Next Level" for Kamen Rider Kabuto, didn't expect her to do a song for Bakegyamon. This anime should be awesome, spite the mix of Pokémon/Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh.

You guys didn't watch Bakegyamon before so you all didn't know how it is like. These monsters in Bakegyamon are Ayakashi(or Yōkai) , class of supernatural monsters in Japanese folklore It's not like monsters in Pokemon, digimon or Yu-gi-oh that have NO concept AT ALL.

@ChaosZack08 The designs of all those Yokai, characters, concept and story are from Ushio to Tora's author, Fujita Kazuhiro. That's why it's similar O: The drawings is done by Mitsuhisa Tamura though.

@blood16ful Of course there are things different from folklore to make the series and the game(Bakegyamon) more interesting. It's not like there are tons of ayakashi from folklore that can fights :o In Bakegyamon, there's something called Joi shoukan and Soujou shoukan. (Shoukan = Summon) The ayakashi evolves. Those 'Joi' and 'Soujou' Shoukan ayakashi are not from forklore of course lol.

Even with the cool opening sequence, music and animation quality this looks like another gay Pokemon clone but with Yu-Gi-Oh! elements or some crap...

Thsi efforts should be spent on making a better version of Pokemon anime more closer to Dengeki Pikachu manga, or a Pokemon Special anime :I
