Mambo never could be as popular and famous without Mexican musicians, Mexican movies and Mexican international proyection. Mambo was borned in Cuba, BUT it was CREATED IN MEXICO. The most famous MAMBO'S pieces in the world were BORNED AND CREATED IN MEXICO BY MEXICANS. Actually PEREZ PRADO died been a Mexican, His tomb stone is in a cementery in Mexico City, and his son and rest of his family are Mexicans and live in Mexico City.

You really need to do more research on the mambo, Perez Prado lived in Mexico when he popularized it, but the Mambo originated in Cuba and to be perfectly accurate it was invented by Cachao and his brother (I suggest you read up on the history of the mambo) The next shocking statement from you will be that the Rumba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Son, Bolero etc also originated in Mexico?
