you guys have one hell of a play ground..lol ..here in wisconsin I would have to go to Black River to hit stuff like this....or piss off a bunch of farmers..lol great vid.....
Thanks man. I have the mods posted on another vid. There is a lot of thing you can do. Depends on what you want to do. It just takes money. You got to pay to play.
man i have option of buying a 660 with 29'' swamp lights 2'' lift rims intake snorkel its a special edition 2006 model with a differential lock an irs. the guy just replaised the rear differential though. he wants 4500 and its negotionable. whats your thaughts on this.
its a pretty clean bike he says that every things fine now being the rear end has been fixed.its a special editionblack.hes a police officer,i dont think that hes thring to screw me over hes a friend of one of my good friends. im gona inspect everything on it .
I thought the special edition 06 was like a maroon color. yeah i see what you are saying. It might be a great bike then. However I do know if you run the 2inch lift and put 28's or bigger you will need to have gorilla axles. Thats prolly why he busted the rear diff.
Yeah I know and it did have that mod done. But didn't have gorilla axles in the front at the time. Didn't want to break the stock ones. Plus he don't like getting muddy.
i agree, i had itp mud lites and yeah they grip sometimes but when you get in bad mud and other stuff outlaws and silverbacks are 100 times better. I just switched to outlaws this week. I had 28x12x12 on the rear and 28x10x12 on front but changed to 28x12.5x12 outlaws on the rear and 28x9.5x12 on the front. I would go with the outlaws but you will need a clutch kit at least
Hi! I got a grizzly 660 to. great machine. No i need new tiers. thinking of buying bigger tiers than orginal zize, but a question : How much power does it lose when i get bigger tiers on? is it getting much weaker? Happy for anwer! :)
Cool. It just depends how big you want to go. If you get 28's or bigger your gona feel a difference, but thats why they make a clutch kit and other performance parts. The horsepower is noticeable loss but you got to pay to play.
also if you go bigger than 28 inch tire you will need a 2 inch lift kit. You will have to watch your throttle control cuz you will break an axle quick. The grizzly in the vid is modified to the max.
kal-I've got 27 Inch ITP 589's (Very aggressive tread) on my 660. Thats 2 inches up from the Factory 25'. As for "Power Loss", The Grizzlys have so much torque and useable power that it really isnt noticable. Theres many people on 28's up to 30's. The Real point of the bigger tires is the added traction, usually factory tires are more all-around tread patterns vs. the aftermarket's massive amount of available very aggressive mud+snow tires. I'd recommend 26's or 27's if youre lookin to upgrade.

jet kit, lift, what kind of axles gorilla?
bighunt986 2 years ago
yes. and they are gorilla axles.
yeepimp 2 years ago
how are those workin for ya cause I heard from alot of ppl that i should go with the turner axles instead of gorilla.???
bighunt986 2 years ago
They work great. Turner makes great axles too but they aren't massed produced. So its a whole lot easier to get a gorilla axle
yeepimp 2 years ago
You can splice your wires for reverse gear to have full power when backing up ..did you know?

Yeah I know and it did have that mod done. But didn't have gorilla axles in the front at the time. Didn't want to break the stock ones. Plus he don't like getting muddy.

would you recomend itp over any other mud tire
Grizzly660ForLife 2 years ago
No for a pure mud tire outlaws and silverbacks are the best.
